Yes both Yang and Wei families are awful 😣. But WKJ didn’t kill his wife, so he’s falsely accused by Yang and Yang bribed Xie Song to sentence WKJ and imprisoned him. Several officials who were tasked with retailing the case also were falsely imprisoned. Some were even murdered. That’s why this case was complicated and no one would touch it. Xu Song is just first level of corruption, the people play went way above him. There’s still the case of the kidnapping of women from 1st Ep not fully resolved yet.
