I had a feeling they’re not making empress evil in the drama when she told Ming Yi to leave and stay alive after losing the tournament. If she were evil, she would’ve killed her instead to keep the secret.

Zhan Tai made MY feel safe to share her secrets because she said she could see true hearts through lies. Anyone who couldn’t is stupid. JBZ didn’t make MY feel safe to tell him. Because of his own trauma of being lied to and deceived, it’s all or nothing to him. Both are going through a lot. MY was being honorable in her own way to protect JBZ. That’s true love ❤️
