This drama is going to be pure ragebait for me 😭 I’m trying so hard to avoid every edit on Instagram. How are we supposed to wait until the last episodes? I don’t want to be anxious every week—that would be pure torture. I’ll just wait until all the episodes are released and binge it.

I think you misunderstood. I don't know what in the line above implied that the FL having masculine features is the only thing I was talking about. What I said was that the FL genuinely looks like a male in disguise, which we rarely get to see in dramas. You seem to have such thoughts about it.

As for calling the ML obsessive, even he admits later in the drama that he's obsessed with her And I didn't mean that the ML is the reason the FL and 2ML separated.

Started off really well, but it slowly lost its intensity

Midway through the drama, I genuinely started feeling bad for the 2ML. I was really hoping the FL wouldn't fall for the ML. The ML is one obsessive motherfucker—I’d call him a schemer. He chose to get close to her when she was at her most vulnerable, took her out on a date, and kept forcing his way into her life instead of letting her go.

For God's sake, the FL had been in love with the 2ML throughout her teenage years. Instead of respecting that, he kept inserting himself into her life when she was emotionally vulnerable. Every time he saw the FL with the 2ML, he gave off this creepy vibe. What a cunning-ass motherfucker.

Plain movie and wasn't executed properly. It failed to create any tension or suspense. The ML's acting was great as usual

I'm confident this will be the best drama releasing this year. Siwan's script selection is always excellent—he never disappoints when it comes to choosing good stories. As for the FL, she genuinely looks like a man in disguise. Most dramas never do justice to the female-disguised-as-male trope, but she actually makes it believable.

Rewatching it for the 14th time, and I still feel like no one could have pulled off Wen Yifan the way Zhang Ruonan did. Her emotions, sadness, silence, innocence, playfulness, emptiness, those little moments of joy, and especially her eyes—she captured every side of Wen Yifan perfectly. Even her willingness and hesitation felt so natural.
I've watched a lot of C-dramas, and I genuinely don't think any actress could have portrayed this character the way she did. Her expressions, voice modulation, and every subtle detail reflected Wen Yifan's trauma so convincingly that it never felt like she was just acting—she completely became the character. What an incredible actress

The movie is quite brilliant and was executed really well, especially the cinematography. I watched it for Siwan, so I was a little disappointed that he didn't have a full-length role.

What a shitty show. As expected, they glorified the ML's mother, and now both the FL and ML are acting ridiculously. I never expected this from the FL—I’ve always liked her work but this senseless drama was a huge disappointment.

I don't even know why this ended up being my first C-drama. I have no idea where or how I found it. Looking back, it's pretty funny—I went into it with zero recommendations or suggestions and watched it while it was airing in 2021.

I only came to know about the FL through Dynamite Kiss, even though I never actually watched the series. I found it through Instagram reels while it was airing, and from those edits I formed an impression of the show. From the outside, it looked like the FL didn't give a fuck about the ML, kept confusing him, and only caught feelings later. I know that's probably a wrong assumption since I never watched it—it's just the vibe I got from reels.

Then I recently discovered My Dearest, which has the same FL. These are basically the only two of her works I know. From what I've seen, My Dearest is considered a masterpiece, but again, I haven't watched it. The reels made it seem like the FL didn't care about the ML at first and only started acknowledging him after he kept rescuing her. I know I could be completely wrong.

Based on reels and comments alone, I just get the impression that she tends to play emotionally confusing characters. Maybe I'm wrong, but those kinds of characters are frustrating for me, and that's honestly why I never watched those two shows. So I feel like this show might be similar too. If my assumption is true, then maybe she just likes taking these kinds of roles.

Anyway, just ignore what I said—this is only the impression I got from reels and comments, not from actually watching the shows.
