I should have read the synopsis before watching this. I hate the sad ones. 😫
+1. I just came here to add the same comment. Really regretted not reading the synopsis. And when it had suddenly hit me, I just wasn't ready for it and cried a lot. I now need something to lift my sprirts. I personally liked Diao qin but I don't know if I can continue..ðŸ˜
Such a sweet, cute, warm, comforting and gem of a series I have ever watched. I wasn't sure what to expect when I watched the trailer but the outcome was such a pleasant surprise..
On a side note, that nickname "Orange" and the way Ko Song calls so endearingly literally stole my heart..
This was really a good one for me. For such a shot series, it was humorous, touching and healing.. The actors were really really great in their roles, mainly after the soul switch. It's definitely going into my rewatch list. If anyone is on the fence, I would recommend go and watch if you enjoy soul swapping concept.
Despite it's flaws, I still enjoyed this part. The way Nao and his family were so warm to Tiger and they became the reason for Tiger to find joy in living. They were really an endearing family together. The friend group was great and supportive in their own way.
I had to read between the lines and really wished they properly fleshed out the story with few more episodes. But the warmth this supportive and precious family of 4 (Nao, Tiger, Dan and their mother) gave me still overpowered it's negatives and made this my favorite. I will definitely miss it..
This must be my nth time rewatching this one. Whenever I feel like watching a comfort series, this immediately pops up in my mind. And with A dog and a plane airing, I am already missing them so much..
The novel gives an enormous amount more. The show did well, but really only the uncut version. The cut version…
Oh got it. Thank you so much for replying😀. Glad to know the story in the novel is more fleshed out. I will definitely read it now. Fah and Phoon are my favourites too and I couldn't seem to get over their story at all..
A question to anyone who read the novel please.. I really loved Beside the sky and feel so connected that I couldn't get it out of my head at all. I am wondering if the series covered most of the novel or only to some extent?
If the series hasn't covered 100% of the novel content, I would love to read the novel. I am already considering watching it for the third time.. 🥲
If I have powers, I woud like to create another person similar to Hu Xiu and send into this drama world, just for Pei Zhen.
I haven't completed this yet but I already wish to see more of Pei Zhen. Wishful thinking but I already want another series that focuses on him 🥲.
I am confused if I am having these strong feelings for Pei Zhen because it was played by Dai Xu or if I would react the same way if someone else played that character too.
Such a beautiful episode this week (every episode of this is a gem). The way this series cracks me up, while also tugging at the heartstrings in such a harmonious manner is really something.
To be frank, I was a bit worried in the beginning if this would be able to keep up the harmonious blend of craziness and heartwarming aspects till the end and I am so glad my worry was for nothing. Every episode just keeps getting better.
Till now, whenever I needed comfort, Cherry magic (Thai) used to be my only destination & I watched it countless times, but I am so glad to have this gem of a series to be added to that list too
Ep 1 was wow, just woww. It was so so fun and I replayed every scene so many times that it took 3 hrs for me to finish the whole episode. I just hope upcoming eps too, are as longer as this one. I am really curious to see how the story plays out.
I am now at my wit's end. Could someone please help with the 2 songs used in the drama:
1. Song played in Ep 4 at timestamps 1:17 to 1:37 2. Song playing at the intro of each episode (Wondering if this is available on Spotify, Shazam recognises correctly but couldn't link to a correct one in Spotify)
Loved these 2 but struggling to find the full versions..😞
That's so wtf, the whole vibe of the drama shifted totally in Ep 10 based on that preview, from a silly comedy…
Exactly.. this turn of events at this point would probably make sense for 16 episode drama. I am worried how they are going to wrap this all up, considering this is just a 12 ep one..
I thought we would never get to see Jin hwan's past struggle but thanks to the epilogues. Even though they are just a few glimpses, I really appreciated them. Something about this series strongly keeps me going despite very normal storyline and I am most definitely sure it's the 2 leads' acting. Despite whatever the preview showed, I think I am looking forward to the next episode(s).
I went in after only partially reading the summary thinking Heesu and Chan young will be the pair🤣. But I was definitely pleasantly surprised to suspect and find out that main pairing is Heesu and Seungwon at the end of ep 1.
Until I knew this, my silly brain thought I am going to have second lead syndrome with this drama first time ever 🤣 because I couldn't see any couple chemistry with Heesu - Chan young and though Seungwon was there for <5mins, something about them gave off the good vibes.
I am also planning to definitely read the original webtoon as I am so intrigued and interested in the main leads' story now..

There is literally no time for anything to sink in and everything feels cut short, rushed and disconnected. Such a pity..
I hate to say this but I prefer the novel version of the story this time.
