tbh in the novel she is the first and legal wife. The dad cheated on her bc apparently hes scared of his dad and feel suffocated so in rebellion ??he cheated on his completely innocent wife?? why he prefer FXZ's mom more? Bc YunShen mom makes him look like the useless coward he is (bc shes a strong independent woman) and FXZ's mom is the typical obedient housewoman traditionally man like. Seriously, if u dont like it man up and say no. NOT cheat on his wife. And in the novel YunShen had a car accident largely bc of him not how its portrayed in the drama.
