No, you got the timeline mixed up. WenXi fire happened in 1938, and the time of the drama at current is 1939 bc we know it takes place before/during the first Battle of ChangSha. So she cant just take new photos of her father, since we know BaGe is in ShangHai for a long time. WenXi fire really took everything. Burned 90% of the city.
