This whole show I never understood why Ice and Warm were even dating, they didn't seem to get along at all. Ice…
It is absolutely logical. If you don't understand it, the problem is in your gadget. Warm approached Ice at his most vulnerable when he was deserted by everyone and later as he loathed himself, he thought he had to put up with Warm because no one else will ever want him. As for Warm, he thought he found a comfortable partner who will never leave him due to his low self-esteem and with whom he can do whatever he wants.
I guess that is allowed in Thailand. Parents can do whatever they want to their adult children and the Police…
I have several Thai and Asian friends (as well as exes) and I can tell you it is bonkers. Yes, paternal influence is still huge on them even in adulthood, but no way it would be allowed to physically imprison them, especially via staff members and security guys. Police really does not take domestic abuse seriously but not up to the point of condoning physically keeping them as hostages. That is drama land at its most idiotic. If the father was a head of a criminal syndicate or something, then it might be feasible, but not in this situation.
the insane gatekeeping of good subs for this show makes me hate it! Ill comeback next year.
You can start learning Japanese and undertake the hard and generous voluntary job fansubbers do for all of us instead of being an entitled prick who takes good fansubs for granted.
I honestly don’t understand why the show gets so much hate. Like every show—and I want to emphasize the word…
The hate from some users is totally undeserved and ridiculously out of proportion. This show has its flaws but on the whole it is a beautifully filmed and intriguing story, and the performances are solid enough too.
BL fans could hate shows for such idiotic reasons I could scream, and they very often do it only to jump on a bandwagon.
They're really going to kill the father like that and he won't suffer the consequences of being the big problem?…
These screenwriters are apparently vaccinated against giving monster shit parents a proper treatment. They either redeem them for no reason (Love in the Moonlight) or kill them off (Laws of Attraction). Only in probably To Sir with Love they dealt with them with some sense of justice, more or less.
Actually it is an easy exit again. Instead of being called out and given punishment in their lifetimes the best…
I know but I am getting tired of this excuse. Especially since in real life I know how often these kind of parents are abandoned by their kids in Asia as well as the bare minimum. In South Korea this is particularly rampant. Dramas should stop pandering to this sick tradition.
Finally something good happens in the show right at the very end of ep. 8! The evil father got shot, but no idea…
Actually it is an easy exit again. Instead of being called out and given punishment in their lifetimes the best solution Thai lakorns could offer is killing these irredeemable parents off, without them ever having to suffer consequences while they are alive.
I really cry out at Ping and his mother scene..So heart broke for Ping...It is time for Ping mother to open her…
Instead it is time for that bitch to be told off and abandoned by Ping completely so she could regret her vicious sins for the rest of her life, but this is Thai drama, so it never happens, piece of shit parents like this never get the punishment they deserve.
Smoking in Asia is very common and showing it in dramas is perfectly all right and realistic. Snowflakes get over…
Diddums Night_Orchid_777 who cannot even write a basic sentence correctly call me Karen, then quickly blocks me in the most appropriately Karen way. Well-done, clown. You really cannot make this up.
The same shit was going on with 4Minutes and On Cloud Nine. The BL fandom in general is totally unable to handle…
On Cloud Nine is not a suspense-story but a puzzle-filled psychological drama, yet it keeps you guessing throughout. And it is beautiful, though I am very biased with the productions of MindTrio. To me they always come up with little diamonds. And it is also a valuable record of how excellent actors Meen and Rossi are - whom you only see in supporting roles in big productions.
Smoking in Asia is very common and showing it in dramas is perfectly all right and realistic. Snowflakes get over yourselves. Dramas are not preachy cautionary instructional.
For anyone who felt lost after the first two episodes like I did, don’t give up and definitely don’t judge…
The same shit was going on with 4Minutes and On Cloud Nine. The BL fandom in general is totally unable to handle anything unusual, complex and mysterious which does not serve everything in a platter and then spoon-feeds them from the beginning. This drama is one of the best of the currently airing ones and the rating is ludicrous as usual.
I have been saying this for a long time but BL genre urgently needs a lot more thinking adult fandom and rather less kids and fangirls whose interest is limited to skinship.
