Bai is pretending to lose his memory cause he wants to do something and he didn't meet bai after he got out cause 1st he wouldn't be safe 2nd fan wasn't sure if bai still loved him.After bai opened his shop,bai used to buy cake from there almost everyday,they didn't meet like they showed in the preview,fan was extremly drunk when baj meet him and then they got together again.Bai actually do have short time memory loss cause after they meet they had physical contact,while they were doing it fan asked him how they were in this position bai couldn't remember that even though it was just a few min ago,and he forgot most of what he studied,and few memories too,he can't even always remember who is giving order.Bai suffered the most but he blamed none,he loved fan too much.

It does kinda feels odd to see that on my screen like i am watching a crime series but they don't do anything inappropiate except ongsa suddenly kissing older soon out of nowhere it was not creepy in the novel,i read the novel,they don't get into a relationship infact the older soon tells younger ongsa to stay away from the younger soon,he doesn't even feel anything creepy for ongsa just his every gesture makes the older soon miss the older ongsa to the point the younger ongsa asked the older soon if he was thinking about someone cause he always was and missed the older one badly even though the younger one was with him(i didn't understand this part,he was with his loved one just the younger version why was he that heart broken,and the crying actually anoyed me kinda i hope they reduce that a little.)

I read the novel,if they follow that then no the old bookstore manager is not connected to them in any way

I said mistake as a figure of speech,i read a science fiction novel once where the mc for a certain time wasn't even supposed to be in his own timeline,all the timelines could only be fixed by him going to another time,also kinda like dark series theory here i guess.And the novel don't actually explain anything it was too busy making jom fall in love with khun yai,and then making commander yai falling in love with jom,you could say it was a plot hole or maybe the author intentionally left that out but the author did mention about jom's situation being fate but as a scifi lover i wanted more explanation but i am happy cause even in novel khun yai was enough to keep me interested.As for jom being tied to the house,i think the house is a window that opens other timelines door maybe the house has something i don't know,all of this are my thinking

They have we complete each other type visuals,and in real life too,they don't do any fanservice,that's also very refreshing thing.
