He most probably went to medical school first, then specialized in forensic pathology, applied to the Police force,…
I was actually surprised when people thought how is this possible, but then I found out this is not the case in all countries. Looks like watching BL do teach us something sometimes π
It's actually a real life thing unlike the supernatural things. I will give you my country's example,in my country…
Yes,I understand. I was actually surprised to see many people didn't get it,then I realised different countries have different rules regarding these things. Looks like other countries make domes do the medical and crime related works, but in Many countries doctors themselves do it
This series has a serious issue with pacing. The main romance went from situationship to declarations of everlasting…
I have to agree, they are doing it as perfectly as they can,and everything is good except the pacing is bit fast,if they added just two more episodes, everything would have been sorted out just fine.
But but but,if they are going for the past lover thingy or soulmate then this pacing will make complete sense.
One thing that's confusing me about this drama is how is Ken a doctor and an inspector at the same time? Someone…
It's actually a real life thing unlike the supernatural things. I will give you my country's example,in my country a medical student can complete their entire studies then sit for an exam called BCS, it's basically a government job examination, anyone can give this extremely competitive exam and become government officials. Now some graduated doctors have immense patience and they sit for this exam and crack it too. This way they can secure a stable life quite early with all the benefits too. They continue their doctor related works but mostly related to crime and how to keep poor people healthy.
Ken is an immortal with unlimited time,I don't know about Thailand, but he probably did crack some exams, you do need doctors to examine dead bodies. Plus him being a Nour also gives him enough ability to forge some paperwork here and there
like what? by all means, do tell π€the last good Thai BL I've seen before this one was Khemjira! what have I…
I guess it's just your preference. I didn't like any of the Thai bls of this year, this one is an exception, edge of horizon was somewhat decent. I avoided Thai bls like a plague before Nour,so I might miss something, but I saw reels of everything,so I don't think Thailand is having a great year except one or two good bls here and there.
I skimmed through the novel(it didn't manage to held my attention for long),so it's basically slice of life with a bit tension here and there. The story isn't that gripping, and absolutely nothing unique in it except one of the lead having hiv, but if they execute it properly, and the acting is good, this one might turn out decent.
And yeah, the happy ending is only an illusion, that guy doesn't miraculously get cured or anything. But they ended the novel with a happy tone. Good for them,I am tired of gmmtv's happy endings anyway. Let them do something unique once in a while
ken's first response after he found james familiar was to check on his pulse, then he saw a glimpse of their meeting 5 years ago during his attempt in the laundromart. the next time he tried to feel james' pulse again, i was thinking, did he try to look further into the past?
just like many other viewers i also belive in the possibility of james being ken's past lover, be it a reincarnation or him having a memory loss. ken's strong reaction towards james wasn't quite normal for if they were purely strangers. his initial response was to push james as far away as he can, but later on until this latest ep it's shown that ken eventually gave up and face the truth that he actually wants to be with james. if, just if, if 'james' was someone he has loved before it would make so much sense if he's always trapped in between pushing him out and pulling him in. but for now the later win, to the point admitting how it hurted him when james left him in the car alone.
ngl i've seen jamesken doomed yaoi from afar, and if it's really true that james is a reincarnation of ken's past lover... imagine how ken would be in despair. since nour can actually die (or be killed), what if ken's immortality is actually something that occured to him later? for example like what if the price for him to save or to make a wish of his past lover came true was to be immortal? i'm really looking forward until they reveal what event led to ken trying to end himself until more than 200 times in span of 200 years.
and then, another incoming conflict is what would be james' reaction knowing ken is trying to find out the nour behind the killings to ask it doing one to him. i'm gonna be a mess watching this i swear.. would james try to convince ken to not end his life again or would he honor ken's wish of centuries to finally end it all?
either way, i can't help rambling abt all these bcs jamesken angst will EAT me up so bad and i'm not ready for it T___T
also i actually have a theory i made up in my own head that is: james has reborn so, so many times. and in every single life he's born into, he's bound to be by ken's side. but his life always ends tragically, leaving more and more scars into ken's life. losing another 'james' brought ken into another try of ending his life too. if you had to experience losing your loved one again and again, i think you would have that hollow in your eyes too.
now that someone mentioned the poster for the series, i spent a few minutes staring at it and have a few speculations…
I want to know too about why the thread between ken and chita is the thickest of all. No doubt ken loves James the most,so shouldn't their thread be the thickest? Unless Chita is someone from his past.
Guys, why did ken covered James eyes when he was riding him? Before I thought it was because ken didn't want James to find out anything, but now the truth was out,so?
I saw someone say on twitter it's because Ken probably didn't want James to see what he had seen in the car and leave again, which is why he covered his eyes.
the acting...The Acting...THE ACTINGπππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Some people do have different preferences, and I do respect that. But the problem arises when I share my preference they try to belittle. That's annoying on a whole different level. It makes me worry about the future of mankind. Well,I do think we don't have a future though.
