The parents had a hand in the way Jet was brought up tho. They never said they won't support them if they followed…
So I see it differently about the parents. Jet and honestly Jean and Jane kept lots of things about Jet from the parents. They never stopped or discouraged him from becoming an idol, because that was his dream. But they also had to be realistic. Jet was not passing any auditions and eventually, he was going to have to make a living. Even the BL actors we watch continue with their college education even if they become famous. His parents simply said if being an idol, which does have an age cap, unfortunately, doesn't work, you will have our store to fall back on. I didn't see it as pressure but more like a cushion if he didn't make it in the entertainment industry. And now because of him, they don't even have that to give to him, which is tragic.
I saw on Threads folks saying that Little Jane got on their nerves so badly this episode and they were dropping the show. So I prepared myself, because Little Jane has gotten on my nerves several times in this series and although I knew I wouldn't be dropping this show, I was ready for LJ to do something stupid...again. Much to my surprise when all I did was feel soo very badly for him. He just wanted to have his boyfriend work his job and take care of his family. To have a brother who has not once, but twice made you indebted to someone would send me over the edge. And in a way, it did. I understand why he couldn't stay at Big Jane's house anymore. Not with his family staying in that apartment. Now, I would have taken Big Jane up on my family still living there but I would have Big Jane charge us rent, just so we don't feel like we were taking advantage of him. Then I would pressure my family to pay as much as they could to give back to Big Jane. But that is me. LJ was caught between a boulder and a hard place. The only think that go on my nerves was at the end when Big Jane asked him to promise to come back to him and he didn't answer. I wish he would have at least said he would try his best. While I feel like Big Jane was in the wrong here, I also see why he did it. How do you turn down your lovers brother when you are capable of helping them? Now do I think he should have had a hard and fast rule that he would not be doing favors for anyone in LJ family unless life or death, sure. But you could see how hard Jet was trying to be an idol and honestly, LOTS of people get a head start in the entertainment industry by just knowing the right people. It just sucks that Jet is an idiot! Jet was THE only person to get on my nerves this episode. Imagine being that critical of someone who has rescued from certain death because you made poor decisions and who would likely be your savior because you are still stupid. The only thing that irritated me about Big Jane agreeing to help was he did it after hearing what Jet thought of LJ. He should have said, I would have helped you but you are an ungrateful little brat, so no. I felt so sorry for the parents. To be accused of not supporting their dreams, when so far, all I saw was parents who wanted the best for their kids and supported that. I don't know/cannot remember if they were against Jane becoming an artist, but I feel like most of the time, Little Jane mostly lacked confidence in himself to be an artist and that is why he didn't pursue it, not his parents thinking it was a waste of time. Jet just sucks and I hope next week is the last we see of him. I am annoyed that next week looks like Big Jane having to win LJ back when he shouldn't be going anywhere. Let's normalize disagreeing in a relationship, even being mad at someone with out breaking up or going distant/sulking for forever. If you love someone, you can be disappointed in them, you can set a boundary with them and then continue the relationship building from there. But overall, I think Little Jane did the best he could with how shitty of a hand he was dealt this episode. Especially because that beginning had us and him believing he could just live a regular good life.
Was that a private room or did Naphit and Sangnuea just do it in the middle of the club? Also, I wish this series would focus more on the Omegaverse and less on this stupid side plot of rival gangs and or whoever this GL couple is. I probably wouldn't mind it if they would tighten up this script. They went from meeting at the house to meeting at the girls place to then meeting at the cafe to say the same things over and over again but coming to zero conclusions. And as much as the father cares about finding the Pure Omega, he is a terrible head of family if the sends every guard to find them, when his son is being accused the family reputation is going down. Did I expect excellent writing from this series, no but come on! Did anyone read it before it was approved?! Boat and Oat are still are what is keeping me around each week, but I need them to hurry up with this plot line and get back to knotting and give me a mpreg! If they don't show a knotting scene, I'm going to be pissed off.
The thing is...it was historically accurate as only Europe at that time had gay marriages....even the Methodist…
Thank you, I did google it before I wrote my response and from my research no where in the world made it legal. And even looking at what you have said, no where in my research just now proved this. But I'll take your word for it, although as someone who lived it, it was called a civil union back then and they were rare because they were still frowned upon. Maybe it was because he had money and could buy some influence, although I doubt his reach was that far. Historically, I wish it would have been handled a bit more seriously, because I know it would not have been as simple as a proposal and a ceremony in a church , not in the 90s.
Never have I disliked a character as much as Lu Fan. Wishy Washy, Mamby Pamby! I am only half way through and if he doesn't get a back bone soon, I'm going to scream. The rage bait comments about this show make all the sense in the world not that I've started watching. Welp, that was a giant waste of time. Just finished the last episode. Lu Fan was pathetic until the very last episode where they reveal that all this time, he was good at finance and he was rich and that set up the other main lead to lose alot of money, just so he could be remembered by him. He goes away for a few years and then the other ML comes and proposes to him and they get married in 1995 Europe in a church, speaking terrible English. The literal last scene is Lu Fan asking if they can go home to see his mother for New Years. Despite him supposedly having cut ties with his mother and family. There was not a single likeable character. Closest was the best friend of the main lead, but he was consistently terrible to Lu Fan, all the way down the last few minutes of the last episode. We've discussed how I feel about Lu Fan. Let's talk about the other guy. There was not one moment in the entire 12 episodes where he said he loved him. Oh he said he owned Lu Fan. He spent the entire series treating him like a slave, ignoring him, stringing him along (hot one minute, cold the next!), using him and pushing him around. There was not a single gentle moment where Lu Fan was treated like a human being by anyone in the series, except maybe the woman co worker, but I think even she just wanted to date him. Let's talk about the parents. Both sets. The rich parents where useless. Mom made one appearance. Dad showed up multiple times but was unhelpful in every way possible. Hated both sisters! Both terrible people. Not sure what Lu Fan's damage was. She was abusive to Lu Fan, but when it looked like he didn't like her back she was acting like he cheated on her. The brother deserved to rot along with his father. I really wanted the mom to take the money Lu Fan tried to give her and leave her husband and son, just so she could escape the reason she had to lose her son. The last thing I'll talk about is how stupid it was to place the story in the 90s and then have them get married in the end. As someone born in the 70s, the 90s was filled with tragedy, terror and abuse to the LGBTIA community. Between the AIDS epidemic, and homophobia, the concept of a gay couple holding a wedding ceremony in a CHURCH in the 90s is so ludicrous, I couldn't even finish the scene, had to skip it. This was not good. No one was redeemable, everyone sucked. And I couldn't really even give it to the NC scenes, because it was mostly just repeated shots, camera angles, neck kissing and no one taking their clothes off. They didn't even show them really being romantic. Soup making and bossing someone around, that was it. There wasn't even like this longing felt from the other ML. That man told Lu Fan that his ass had no value. Because that was all Lu Fan was to him. Just EEEEEEEYUCK!
Jamie was soo stinking cute! That hospital scene was so heartbreaking! Both Jamie and Jane Patrick have terrible parents. I do feel bad for Little Jane, because having to watch someone go through an allergic reaction is scary. I will say, as someone who has to carry an EpiPen and someone whose child carries one, as the nanny, he should definitely have had an extra one on him. But so should Big Jane. My favorite part of this episode was how Big Jane handled the bullies! Little Jane got on my nerves, most of the episode. First with being nosy like literally the whole episode. Him listening into that meeting pissed me off. Mind ya business, Little Jane! Then, him not handling them bullies and that teacher they way they needed to be handled. I come up on someone I care about and am supposed to take care of being held down and beat up by anyone, the hammer is coming down. We don't even want to talk about it was my own children. Just know I'm smiling in my mugshot. When Big Jane got campus and let them little punks know that while your life may be miserable at home, you don't get to take that out on others. And I was sooo glad the teacher got fired. She wasn't doing her job. I did like the fact that the room was filled with Little Jane. And that Big Jane acknowledged that it was crazy. I kind of wanted Little Jane to respond that, "yes this is crazy but I love it!" Because it's literally the concept of the show. Both of them do too much for this love, but it's okay, cause they like it. I love that this show is not trying to redeem either of them, they are what they are. Is it messed up, sure, but once they figure out the kinks, they are perfect for each other! 😂😂😂😂
They have got to pay a few people to at least walk in and out of that cafe. For half the scenes to take place there, its weird to have no one there all the time. I will admit to finally being more interested in the Alpha-Beta storyline. Not by alot, but its gotten a little better. And I love that they are explaining omega verse so thoroughly. It would be amazing if they actually showed a heat and a knot. To be honest, I truly think BoatOat may be the only ones able to pull it off. I want less of Dad and the girls and more of that. Not sure about the last Alpha omega storyline, but I guess we shall see.
This was a really great drama. Like it was kind of perfect, so it really sucks that we don't have this ship anymore. I didn't really buy this ship at first, which is kind of why I took so long to watch this. I was saving it to binge and then they ended the ship, so I kind of put it to this to the side for a time. I love this. It was sweet, it was romantic. The side ships were good. The plot was good. Even the side plot of the coupe was well done. Not to much back story, no long explanations of the bad guys intentions. And it didn't take long to resolve story wise, because they didn't waste time going back too much to show what was going on in the palace. The focus on their relationship with the perfect balance of story time with the other two ship was exactly how BL's should go. I feel like each side ship got enough time to show their story with out being too little or too much. My favorite part of this series was how they didn't shy away from intimacy in this series. From the fact that they spoke about sex almost immediately, to them actually doing it, so soon after they met, to all the moments after they figured it all out that they touched and kissed. The amount of just being together in each other space, talking about just anything, like a real couple. One of my pet peeves in BL, especially with GMMTV bls specifically is that they rarely show realistic relationships (unless it's Aof or this director JJ). Couples touch all the time, in the most innocuous of ways, just to connect with the person they love. Seeing it shown here in the constant leaning on each other, the cuddling in bed and all the kissing with out it leading to a NC scene was so refreshing to see and I hope we get more, especially who can play like they are in their 20s like GemFourth. I liked their last project, but I hope they get to not be in school dramas any more. Maybe college, but I hope it's more like We Are, or even a Domundi project where they are real college kids. Anyway, Winny and Satang proved to everyone that they have amazing chemistry in We Are (my second favorite ship after AouBoom) and they really, really proved they can carry an entire show. So to know that we will never see it again definitely adds some sadness to this series. Do I think this is worth watching even if they no longer a ship, yep! I cannot emphasize how well acted, written, directed this was. The cinematography was great as well. This is definitely going in to they favorites list, and I can see my self rewatching it again, just for the vibes being so good in this series. I am really glad I watch this.
This was so wonderfully acted. The tension in every scene they were together in was felt through the screen. But so was the sadness, the regret, the longing, from both of them. I loved that we get a time skip and I love that Big Jane didn't give in right away. That he was trying to live up to what LJ wanted. I need Little Jane to beg at this point. He acts like all he did was not trust Big Jane. It's not like he thought Big Jane lied about an affair and he didn't believe him. He accused Jane of murder/manslaughter with like zero thought. And I give him credit for it being in the thick of grief. But how could you love him then, if you feel like he is capable of killing someone let alone your friend? And how much do you believe he loves you, if you think he is capable of doing that? I need Big Jane to stand on business until Little Jane says more than just I'm sorry. I need I was wrong, I was stupid, even, I was grieving and completely out of my right mind because I had literally watched not only just a person die, but someone who I considered my best friend. Little Jane needs to deliver the most sad sack, beggingest monologue about how much he missed Jane all this time and how he goes to the condo to cry and hug the pillows just for the chance that they still smell like Big Jane. I need Little Jane to make as big a deal out of how much he loves Big Jane as he did for leaving him. I also wanted Big Jane to be meaner to those two stupid secretaries. I needed at least a threat for them to lose their job since they didn't seem to want to work anymore. He needed to be scarier Big Jane this time and no one would consider him a red flag for doing it. I love this show and I am interested deeply in the preview for next week. Although, I am already annoyed at Little Jane going into the room Big Jane told him not to go in. Respect the boundaries, man! It was already bad enough you went into his desk, when you could have put that little doll on the top of the desk.
The father's reason annoyed me. It didn't make sense for him to go through what he went through and then not 1) test his son to make sure of what secondary gender he was 2) explain everything is as much detail as possible so that his son didn't have to ever go through, what he eventually ended up going through. I'm not going to tell you thing exists, on the off chance you NEVER run into anyone who is from that world, but I'm also not going to stay near you and raise you so that you DON'T meet someone from that world. It's stupid. Everyone assuming Phatsa is pregnant and doing everything but take him to the doctors this episode irritated me. They have all the money in the world, it would mean nothing to take him to the doctor for even the slightest reasons. I kind of wished instead of the pregnancy stuff, they would have continued with the theme of the father's reasons and Phatsa's own insecurities about him and Nakhun's relationship. If only they had address at least some of the concerns or at minimum had Nakhun spend time with Phatsa in a meaningful way, it would lead nicely into the pregnancy storyline. We could have gotten all the same shenanigans but end up with the pregnancy test with the doctor like they are showing next week. Much better flow, storywise, IMO. Lastly, I don't care for the second couple. I have zero interest. They don't have chemistry together for me. Also, their hair ( and literally everyone on this show except BoatOat, although today's episode, Boat's hair was looking a little crunchy in once scene, has terrible hair. The hair stylist should go back to school, cause nooooo!) styles are distracting. The hair in the eyes is enough already. And the NC scene , because I'm not interested in the CP, I wasn't invested in. There was some moments, but I wasn't a fan of the hair pulling. Once, sure maybe, but repeatedly....ewww. There is just something about them that isn't working for me. Nakhun's Dad's storyline is also for the birds, imo. I don't care. Why is he against them, it doesn't really matter. If this series had focused more on the connection between Nakhun and Phatsa after the bite, exploring with it, the ins and outs of Omegaverse through teaching Phatsa, it would have been really interesting. No GL couple, maybe only one other side couple. Definitely not what ever mafia BS they try to throw in from time to time. Just romance and Omegaverse and it would have been great. Explaining what heats and ruts are, showing what makes Pure Omegas and True Alphas different from the rest. Showing an Omega pregnancy. That would have been the bee's knees but alas, nope. Just terrible editing, terrible music (don't get me started on the only English terrible lyrics slope playing in every scene!), terrible hair, some terrible acting and poorly written scripts. I KNEW it wasn't going to be great. But I didn't skip this much in My Stubborn. And I like Omegaverse, so I was hopeful it wouldn't be horrible. And I do still really like BoatOat's parts. They are still saving this show from me abandoning ship. I will say what is great is any time they do a full body shot of Boat! Who ever styled him and sincerely only him, deserves a raise.
This was a fun little story. I liked all the couples. I do contend that Phuwin is still too stiff in the intimacy/romance department. They will probably always give two straight dudes kissing to me. I KNOW I'm going to get hate for that, but I really don't see me changing my mind about that. I still like them and this was my favorite series of theirs. I liked seeing William Est, they were cute in this as well. They also gave two straight dudes kissing, but less if you know what I mean. And I think (hope!) it had more to do with Mhok being such a stiff character. They had him come out of character a little bit, but it would have been nice to truly see him melt with Rome when they were alone. I really hope their next series, because it is soo not like either character they have played before it will give them a chance to show a wider range of skill... It annoyed me that they didn't make the girl body guard as competent. I don't think she made any mistakes in the cemetery, that was all on Mhok. There were two of them, she had Peach and Plub, so it was on Mhok to protect Thee, but he was busy having a hissyfit about Rome. I just wish instead of it being Mhok yelling at her, she was mad at herself and then Mhok reminder her that she did the right thing by staying with Peach and Plub. The GL couple was cute and I was here for it. I will say, them poor kids. Got adopted, but are frequently left alone by their parents. That poor baby showed her drawing and Thee spent less than 30 seconds looking at it before he booted her from the room. They barely made an appearance, but if they were going to do that, I wish it had been under the guise of like away at school or visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Hong Kong. It just was weird to have them kids pop up every blue moon, but mostly be ignored. IMO Overall, it was a good time. I really enjoyed the return of all the GMMTV actors cameos. I laughed too hard at that part. I will definitely miss this series as it maybe my favorite Thai BL in 2026 so far. Between Thee and Me and When Oranges Fall, this has been a good GMMTV year.
finally someone that shares the same sentiment as i do about justin ,i do not in whatever way support what he…
Yeah, I'm an old lady, so I've been around in life to know that actions have consequences, but that this consequence doesn't have to be the end of the world for him. He has soooo much time left in life, that as long as he truly learns from this, he will be back and it will be a small blip in his life.
Before he died, Songphon, the old evil man, called him and said, “I prepared everything for you.” Songphon…
Thank you soooo much!!!! That makes all the sense in the world. I thought the evil old dude was planning something with white hair guy to do further shenanigans, but they both got taken out before they could. This makes better sense.
This is a perfect example of what Boys Love is. It would make for a excellent gateway into BL. I loved AlmondProgress in Love Sick 2024. They were perfect in those roles, as the OG holds a special place in my heart and was one of the original GMMTV BLs. I was excited to see what they could do at GMMTV and I'm glad they were able to join this company that would find them a story that suited their growing acting career. Great story, well acted. Heart felt. I am sad about Justin. I found out about his scandal before I watched this series. And I stand by my opinion that what happened was for the best. After having seen the show, I fully hope he takes a few years off, maybe seek some therapy and broaden his horizons, because he is very talented. It's actually fortunate that this all happened before he could blow up huge and while he is still young enough to see the error of his ways. I sincerely look forward to seeing him in the future. I loved Ken and Paul before this, but man, this was such a great show for them. I'm also looking forward to their future shows together. They did so well here, that I truly think they could be leads next year. Overall, an amazing show. This is definitely a comfort watch.
Okay, I feel like I'm missing something. Who was the guy who killed the white haired director dude and why did he kill him? That was the only part that confused me in the finale.
He was in coma for a few weeks?! Can they say a few days? Few weeks is so unbelievable. They stabbed him, his…
He lost a lot of blood and had a yes, his head was concussed. He literally wakes up with a bandage on his head. The human body can and will shut it self down to heal from any physical and psychological trauma. A few weeks isn't that unbelievable when you factor all that he went through. Heck, he worked himself for years without a break, a thing they mentioned in the series. His body could just have demanded he finally rest for once.
The title of this show didn't make sense to me at first but as each episode went on, it became clearer. Episode six solidified the reason for this title. So many big emotions, for literally everyone. From Big Jane realizing he has to change or he will lose Little Jane, from LJ needing a friend to figure out his emotions and problems only to be assaulted by his best friend. Then having to rescue best friend from boyfriend (and good on Big Jane, cause Put deserved that, how many times did LJ need to say no, I'm not into you) immediately after getting assaulted. LJ being depressed because man, it sure is messy being in love with a red flag. Side note: theme song definitely is spot on and reminds us weekly what kind of show we are watching! 😂 LJ was also sad to have to lose said best friend as a friend and before he could even process losing just having his friend in his life, his friend literally leaves life, right in front of him. Having your best friend die and thinking that your boyfriend was capable of doing it is a mind fuck, so I don't blame him, per se, for going off on Big Jane. The way Big Jane has been from the beginning, even if Put didn't say his name, just his actions in front of the house, would make anyone at least contemplate the possibility that he did it. That last scene was so beautifully acted and shot. I've seen some say that having a NC scene here was weird, but this wasn't just sex, it was love making and there is a huge distinction. Jane said even with Put that despite being scared of Big Jane, he loved him and wanted to spend his life with him. Two things can be true at once and it was for Jane. He also had to honor the "contract". Why not do it while also connecting with your lover for the "last time"? Acting wise, that NC scene was amazing. The tears, the passion, the longing and sadness. It felt like a goodbye, it felt like mourning. This show has surprised me. I expected messy, but this has some good depth too it that I wasn't expecting. Definitely, looking forward to next week, especially because we didn't get a trailer. Not knowing where we go from here is interesting.
That was a very good drama. The story with in the story was just as good! And they way they balanced both and made both stories interplay with each other was a breath of fresh air in story telling in BL's currently. Well acted and cast. I cannot find a single thing to fault in this show. This is definitely going on the rewatch list.

IMO
Overall, it was a good time. I really enjoyed the return of all the GMMTV actors cameos. I laughed too hard at that part. I will definitely miss this series as it maybe my favorite Thai BL in 2026 so far. Between Thee and Me and When Oranges Fall, this has been a good GMMTV year.
I loved Ken and Paul before this, but man, this was such a great show for them. I'm also looking forward to their future shows together. They did so well here, that I truly think they could be leads next year.
Overall, an amazing show. This is definitely a comfort watch.
