If you like palace drama: Zhen Huan and Nirvana in Fire are both classic. Romance of Tiger and Rose and A Girl Like Me are newer and sweet/dramatic.

I was wondering that too- and and it had some racy (for C-Dramaland) scenes.
Maybe they aren't that strict towards extramarital affairs on screen. I remember that in A Murderous Affair in Horizon Tower there are a few episodes where it's shown very explicitly. (They go to other ppls apartments to enjoy themselves)

There's a scene where they save earthworms from a pathway, and their whips remind Moran of this early encounter. I think it takes place before Moran becomes CWNs desciple.

Either is possible to be honest, I do hope both survive onscreen! I have a feeling that CWN will survive after all he's been through, but Moran might die a martyrs death to make up for the past/other world.

Do you guys think the drama will have happy ending or sad ending?
I think they will only show the light/soul (Moran) flash across the sky and CWN chasing after it. The scene is ambiguous enough to pass censorship and also familiar to readers. (Cdrama BL often end with a tragic or open ending.)

sometimes I wonder if it is wrong to want to learn chinese so I can read novels in the original language..
I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I studied a bit of sentence structure, grammar, and idioms to better understand mtl. (I don't have the brains to actually learn Chinese tho)

I think it refers to both marriages (Butterfly Town and Chu Fei), because the Underworld doesn't distinguish between the two worlds. Remember the ruler used to measure Moran? It showed both absolute evil and good = both worlds. At least that's what I think. (Just another comment to reach 10k lol)
