those two are real love, not whatever is going on between Pheem and Than. Pheem is sick and twisted, a gaslighter, everything in the book. If Than forgives him after two assassination attempts, I'm out. he deserves everything that comes his way. which is what's going to happen because my profile pic hasn't happened on the series, so that means that there's still some action between them about to happen, which surprises me? no, disappoints me? yes.

most bl actors are not gay. but you should just deal with it if you're going to take a bl role that requires you to kiss another man. the job of an actor is to bring the character to life, and that requires also making kisses believable. if not just audition for straight roles, nobody is forcing them to take these roles.

I've been telling yaaaall, watch out for Risa, she's the mastermind, she's behind all this. She's using pheem to get rid of Chet, I'm pretty sure she's the one that killed that guy. She's a menace, and her woman, i-i mean her bodyguard is a menace as well. she's so cool though, always saving Pheem's and Than's asses. If it weren't for her, they would've been dead like 3 ep ago, this would have been a one-shot lmfao. And I'm hoping with all my soul for Chet's and his bodyguard to get together, cause they have so much chemistry that it's making me sickkk, I'm craving to see them flourish. And that Jason grabbing Pheem's goods in front of everyone lmao, I was like: oh no, not in front of the daddy HAHA pheem, freaky-ahh

Man, I can't be the only one feeling that there's more than just a relationship of boss and employee between Chet and his assistant. his assistant is taking his job a little too personal, and then they get too close, zero personal space. sorry, but I cannot ship it

so let me get this gay, i-i mean, straight. for the dad, it is worse to partake in a gay orgy than to steal fentanyl from their hospital and distribute it. but you know whats worse to him than that? being a woman. cant have a woman nor a gay person as his heir, lmao hilarious

What was that ending? They rushed it so badly. they could've given us like 3 more chapters. They skipped through the whole pregnancies, Shen Wen Lang's parents' story, and they got rid of a whole character, Maheng, Gao Tu's childhood friend, who helped him through his pregnancy. so disappointing. they didn't even give closure to Shen Wen Lang and Gao Tu, they just made them find each other randomly. As someone who read the novel, i was very impressed with the series because for most major scenes they kept the script word for word, keeping it true to the novel, not changing much; however, this last episode was so dramatically altered and summarized. I'd advise to just go ahead and read the novel, like the last 30 chapters, to really get the real ending to the story. the chapters are very short, so it won't take long to read. those are my two cents. it was a 8.5/10, now is like a 6.5

bruh, I've had this series saved for months but never dared to actually watch it because i was unfamiliar with the actors and Daou looked a little weird in the pictures posted here, like an exotic alien, so i literally was judging a book by it's cover. thankfully, I decided to watch it now after watching a couple of episodes of The wicked game, and I'm so sad that I didn't watch this sooner. Its so good, has a lot of wholesome scenes. They look like they're very comfortable with each other, 0 stiffness whatsoever. I have still to finish it, I'm on ep 8, but so far it's very nice.

So basically, Risa is a mastermind. She is using Pheem to destroy Chet, and I'm sure once that happens, she's going to counterattack and mess with Pheem as well. All that misogynistic bs from dad, and she's a genius.
