This show is so much more than a bl. This is a deep plot that happens to INCLUDE BL. it's queer representation and it shouldn't be reduced to "just a bl" — there are many series out there, which are made just for the fan service aspect of this "community", so if you're looking for romance alone this series is simply not for you. Also it's funny you say "Earth looked like a model" because he had ZERO makeup on his face throughout the whole series, sorry he's handsome I guess. Mind you Tian is not a rich brat, the only thing I can give you as a point is that the show is not as descriptive with his past as the book might be.
