One of the BEST modern C-drama and also the best acting by YY

I always like Yang Yang because of his looks and voice, not because of his acting. I was simply happy watching him act because he is so handsome. However, I was wrong after watched this drama. What I mean is Yang Yang isn't just good looking any more. He is a great actor after all.

Yang Yang always played "Yang Yang". What I mean is he is so charismatic that he is not playing his drama role, but rather playing an actor named "Yang Yang". I wonder how many of you can understand what I mean. His acting during the "Love O2O" was okay. He did play well but I never fell in love with his character. Drama itself was very successful and many of us loved it. I just loved watching "Love O2O" because he is so visually good looking. That maybe the only reason I was probably satisfied with "Love O2O".

Well, Yang Yang played "Yu Tu" so well in "You are my glory", I was so impressed how much his acting skills improved after "Love O2O". His acting gave me so much pleasure knowing how great Yang Yang played "Yu Tu" . I could feel how "Yu Tu" felt and thought about the relationship with Jing Jing. I could feel his dilemma for making mistake to reject her second time. 'Yu Tu" was so desperate to find out if Jing Jing would take him back. "Yu Tu" felt so uneasy when he didn't get any calls or text msg from her. Yang Yang played well to show us how anxious "Yu Tu" was to get her love back.

On top of Yang Yang's improved acting skills, the chemistry of two leading actors, YY and DD, is other factor that I want to give a perfect 10 score. While watching their love scenes, they should be acting, but their acting made me feel like they were really in love . They acted so realistically, I mistaken them as real couple. YY kissing scenes were so well done, and it always made me wonder how he practices such kissing scene??? With his real GF or with DD? LOL

This drama is a very straight forward love story. There is no plot, no jealousy , no misunderstanding , no mean person to bully them, and there is no secondary couple to interrupt main couple. Story is mainly focused on Yu Tu and Jing Jing's love life and their career life. Two of them mature together thought their relationship and they reached to their happiness for love life and career life. They are indeed soul mate and fated to be together. They respect each other and that is what this title means. I will look into my own married life and I want to be like them.

That's why I think "You are my glory" is one of the best modern drama I watched. ( I am watching them for the third time :) )

Easy to watch modern romance when you have nothing else to watch....

I watched this drama because I like ML. He was in Oh My Lord (costume drama). He is very handsome and good actor. So I had a high hope for this drama.

This drama is a typical contract marriage, fall in love later, secret behind the contract marriage, mean female co-worker/ex-GF, quarrel between CP, second CP story that is bit boring, misunderstanding, reconcile, then quarrel again, then reconcile.... it was just going on and on and on. I think this type of contract marriage story may be getting old. So it was bit boring to me, but since I liked ML, I was able to complete the drama. I also felt chemistry between ML and FL weren't there, maybe because I wasn't really impressed with FL's acting or her character. And ML had too much lipsticks or gross on. His lips were always red and wet looking. I understand even male actors need make up, but it was bit too much.

If you like this type of romance, I definitely recommend "Hello Mr. Gu" . Very similar story about young CEO and young female romance with contract marriage. FL is very cute and ML is very handsome too. The story is lot better than this one.

I also noticed quite a few editing problems. I would say more like illogical skipping of the scenes and stories. However, if you want to watch something easy and no need to pay attention to the story, then this drama will do.

Oh, I loved the Granma character, she was super cute!

I almost cried every single episode, ready for box of tissues

Somehwere I saw or read that this is a Love Comedy, but i don't think so. This is a love story but not a commedy. It made me laugh once in a while, but I was pull into the unique atmostphere of the drama as human love story. It is unique set up so if you onyl look for romance / love comedy, this isn't like that. Each episode will touch your heart with sadness and warmness of human love.

And the atmostphere of drama and settings, such as old casle like house, the way LF dress with old style fashion and hairstyle, , suspense and bit of scary feeling towards the ending of the drama, are wonderful as part of drama.

Most impressive actor was the older brother of lead male actor. His acting was transcendental !!

Congratulates Hyun Bin and So Ye-Jin *** What a wonderful Drama in Fiction and Real Life***

I heard the news about main CP getting married in March'22, so I watched this drama to find out why so many fans are making such a great (happy) fuss about their marriage.

The story could be little bit of fantasy because if he wasn't the son of high rank officer in N. Korea, and if she wasn't from the rich family in S. Korea, it could have been the bad ending, but it's a fictional drama, so I will accept it as is.

LOVE has no boundary. Two human being came to love each other then over came their difficulties to be together. Luckly CP had understanging parents to support their love.

Now the main CP are getting married in real life, what a joy. I was glad this drama is happy ending, and they actually love each other in real life !!!! This drama and theie marriage will complete the whole situation.

I wish ppl in both South and North Korea will be able to freely love each other one of these days!

If you like lighthearted RomCom, you will love this drama

I am a big fan of ML, Lui Xue Yi, so I must give a perfect score. He is as handsome as ever and great actor.

This is a unique Romance Comedy between single Mother who has a small son and the load who fell in love with her. The child actor who plays her son is cute and he added quite a good character for this drama. It is a costume drama, but there were many modern actions/plays were included in the scenes, so it is more like historical / modern love romance. It is very light hearted, easy to watch with many kiss scenes between ML and FL, so if you want to feel heart pumping for romance, this is for you.

It's only 24 ep, so easy to watch unlike typical 50-60 ep. I am sure you will fall in love with two leads actors. Enjoy!

One of the BEST historical K-drama that you cannot miss

I only watched Chinese Historical Drama all these time, but I was recommended this one by my friends. I guess it doesn't matter which language actors speak. As long as you are interested in watching costume/historical drama, I truly recommend this drama.

Unlike Chinese drama, the ending was clear. There were no disappointment nor confusion. C-drama tends to have strange way to end the drama or unexpected end, confusion and etc. Not all of them, but I noticed I tend to be frustrated with C-drama ending, but this K-drama ended with very clean but very sad ending.

Plus I don't know why but I kept watching the last episode over and over. I do not like sad drama at all, so I avoided any of the bad (unhappy) ending. Therefore, this is the very first drama I cried so much. Yet, I still cry at the last episode after I watched over and over. I know I will cry, but I just want to watch it again and again. I wonder why? Because I was impressed with Lee Joon Gi's performance when he went to pick up the ash of Soo. He cried out so hard and burst into tears. he made me feel exactly how I would feel if I were him. My heart ached and I even felt I would just fall on the floor because he lost his true love and my knee left numb and I couldn't hold my body anymore. Joon Gi's performance was so impressive and this drama ending was perfectly executed by his acting.

After I watched this drama, I decided to watch more K-Drama (historical) and/or C-Drama with sad ending. It maybe sad but I was satisfied with drama itself and I know now I can even enjoy sad ending. IU and Joon Gi's chemistry also made this drama so successful, and rest of the support actors did great job. Thank you everyone for making this drama!

If you like Bai Lu/Lai Yi, this is a must watch romance comedy with twist and turns

This drama is one of the very few drama that Lai Yi took a lead role. He didn't disappoint me at all. I truly enjoyed his acting with his handsome looks. And the chemistry with Bai Lu was amazing. If you are fan of them, you really need to watch it. I actually watched it three time and I know what is the outcome, but I still enjoyed watching , laughing and crying.

First half is a typical romance comedy. Until the half way, there isn't much of romance between two leads, but it was necessary to establish their relationship to develop stronger bonds as lovers. Then story line suddenly had unexpected twists and turns. I also liked the acting by all of the support roles and they have done a wonderful job making this drama for perfect 10. Some may think it was a weak plot, but it was good enough for me to enjoy the entire episodes.

If you like romance comedy, this is one of the drama you will really enjoy watching.

I watched until the end because ZBB was the main lead

I am a big fan of Zhang Bin Bin. And he always chooses roles that make him unhappy character. I can hardly find dramas he is in to be a happy ending, so I was so excited to find that he would end up happy with female rolls in this drama. It was indeed happy ending, so that was good. And ZBB and his dad in the drama Dir. Song actually made me cry when they reconciled their relationship. I am telling you, not only ZBB is a very handsome actor, but also he is truly a quality actor. Just like he played the king in the drama called "King's Woman". He played king so well, it made me cry at the very end. And again it was a very sad ending.

I think number of episode could be shorter, like 24 episode. 42 was too long. Plus, last two episode of female lead to lose memory was really unnecessary. I felt like screen write and/or director simply didn't want them to be happy sooner, they just kept drugging them over and over to be apart and unhappy. At least they got together in the end, so I was very revealed, I was imply worried that this is also the typical C-Drama that last minutes twist make it a sad ending. It took so long, but glad ZBB ended up happy. (As many of you who watch C-Drama know that more than half of Chinese dramas, especially costume historical drama, always ended up sad even it started off happy beginning. Always the last minutes twits and end up sad or tragic ending. I was first worried about this drama, but it was a happy ending, so I am glad. )

Anyway, if this wasn't play by ZBB, I may have not watched it. But it was because of ZBB and the story between he ans his biological father Dir. Song, it kept pulling me back to watch continuously. I am happy that ZBB finally had happy ending

If you are fan of Xaio Lusi, you will like this drama

I think this drama could be'you love it' or 'you hate it'. I am a big fan of Lusi, so I love any dramas she is in. So far none of them disappointed me. Because I like her, I simply bias to all dramas she made.

One of the review made me laugh so hard when viewer wrote the ML was so unattractive and he looked like Hitler. I think it is because he had this thin mustache under his nose. I wished ML didn't have that mustache, because he didn't look good with it. He is generally a handsome man if he had better hairstyle and little more masculine. And I also didn't see much of the chemistry between Lusi and Shen Lin. And each episode was little weak to make me hook to this drama like unlike most of her other dramas do to me. That maybe the reason why I did only 8 out of 10. I am usually high score for Lusi's drama. I thought if ML was someone like Zhang Han, then this would have been pretty good. But I still like this drama because story was very easy to understand, no confusion, not trick, not too much mean spirits and etc. I love the cooking scene and I always love Luxi's smile and laugh. She is supposed to be 21 years old in this drama and Lusi is actually 22 years old, so it suited her to play this FL.

I always enjoy any drama she makes.
