Why is this drama so stressful? Seriously… give these characters a break. I kept waiting for real character development, for them to finally succeed, get married, have kids and let each of their families feel fulfilled. But now that we’re heading into the finale, everything is still a mess. Why do the writers enjoy stressing us out like this?

I really enjoyed Would You Marry Me? overall. It’s balanced, easy to follow and the story holds up well. But honestly… I ended up watching it mainly for the second lead. Shin Seul Ki as Yun Jin Gyeong and Baek Sang Hyeon as Bae Na Ra completely pulled me in. Their character growth felt so genuine, and every scene they shared made me wish the drama gave them even more space to shine. If anyone’s thinking of starting it, the second-lead storyline alone is worth it. 💙

I’m watching Moon River right now and the thing I’m absolutely hooked on is the bond between the guard and the crown prince. Their connection isn’t loud or dramatic, but it’s steady, emotional and full of unspoken loyalty. Every episode builds their relationship a little more, and I love how their trust feels earned, not rushed. Honestly, they’re the duo I look forward to the most each week.

No offense — I honestly love all Korean actors and actresses and really respect their craft in this industry. But sometimes, there are just some actors who make you laugh automatically — not out of hate, but because their expressions are just too funny.
Anyway, I’ll still watch this one. I usually go for any K-drama that gives me a good plot, and this one is definitely giving that vibe.

Oh, so you “felt like you were missing something”? Yeah, same — like… the plot, the pacing, the logic, the budget, and maybe a few functioning brain cells from the writer’s room. But hey, let’s not point our katanas at the actors. They just showed up, did their lines, and probably cried in the bathroom when they saw the VFX budget was three bags of chips and a Red Bull.
Was it messy? Definitely. Missing something? Absolutely. Fault of the actors? Nah, they just clocked in for angel/demon duty and probably prayed the editing team had holy water.
