i think its due to the fact that the female actor was still young so i kinda knew there wont be any intimacy not…
Yes, of course. The lead actress was still a minor during filming, so it's completely understandableāand only logicalāthat she didn't have any intimate scenes. I just wonder why, in that case, they didn't develop the other couples' romances more instead.
Am I the only one who thinks they should've introduced more side couples and given them their own romances? I keep seeing people complain about the lack of intimacy between the main couple. I feel like having more romantic or passionate moments with other couples would've balanced it out. Right now, the main couple is basically the only significant romance in the story. Of course, there's the Eagle King and the evil sister with the miscarriage storyline, but other than that, we don't really get any healthy romantic relationships. But maybe that would've just taken the spotlight away from the main couple. Either way, I think they did a great job, and I really enjoy it as it is.
OMG Hou Ming Hao without a shirt š Is he photoshopped or what... Loved episodes 17-18 (except the horse thing). Even confession was perfect! So much chemistry without any extra touching, kissing etc. Actually, I like every character, even the villainous ones. I'm secretly waiting for General Xiao Wu Yi to stop plotting and acting all soft, and return to his murderous ways. At the moment, it kind of contrasts with the persona he had at the beginning.
Actually, from the very first episode to the last, you could feel the chemistry between them. It might have been a bit less visible from her side, but it was still there from episode one. I think they confessed their feelings somewhere around the middle of the series.
Although the main characters are very well chosen, the overall acting is even worse than Ang Mutya. There are so many awkward dialogues and confusing pauses. As much as I would like to enjoy this series, I realize that I ended up fast-forwarding through almost half of it.Overall, I feel disappointed, because the actors have fantastic chemistry and great potential. I hope that the second season, if there is one, will be made more skillfully, because the plot, the actors, and the soundtrack are actually quite good.
Actually, I don't know what I am going to do when this series ends. Despite the bad acting, cringe, etc., I still look forward to the latest episode every week. As a previous commenter said, it's like a curse :D But I feel like I'm going to miss this show!
I am the only one who thinks that Yuri is acting creepy and his obsession is just really unhealthy. Keifer might be a red flag, but at least he isn't proposing to a girl who he doesn't even know. I mean the proposal is a serious decision if you are still a teenager... I could never ship Jay with Yuri. I dislike Yuri's character even more than Keifer.
