Give me this type of historical innacuracy ALL THE TIME. speaking of historical accuracy none of ancient china women were sickly skinny with a v shaped face like most actresses nowadays. So historical accuracy was never a thing 😭. Plus doesn't the character have to do both the mature role of the empress then the daughter, age doesn't have to be 14-16 if screenwriter adjust it to today's historical standards it would be much better because I am not watching no 14 yr old character, dropper the love in the galaxy because the character was 14 despite me liking the drama until the age reveal

I watched love me love my voice and I absolutely hated that drama! An old man goes to a young girl who he doesn't know and gives her her number and he is an old virgin.. He is an accomplished surgeon or doctor I don't remember and he hosts a radio show and she is his fan. Her character is just a pretty vase there was such a power imbalance between them from him being far more successful and her still being a student and the age gap.. That it felt so predatory and creepy! not to mention all they did was eat food and chill.. I don't blame Zhou ye at all about it, the drama itself is trash.. No one could have saved it! I think it made it into my 2024 worst drama list

Also the people checking this are not checking it for the actress but rather the writer since she has come up with hits that I personally enjoy a lot "the double" is my all time favorite cdramas and the glory is great. So most people come from that including me! I don't hate or love Zhou ye, I liked her in the drama with lin yi. It's not about her but the character!!
