Your usual ML can do it all trope making its inevitable appearance.

I'm finding it ok and light hearted enough, but the editing is choppy and way too many times I feel these gaps where some extra scenes (presumably filmed but left out) would have come in handy. One moment you have the 2nd CP in their usual bickering friends phase and two episodes later they are dating with nothing or very little in between to show the progression.
Kinda feel like I don't need the CEO can cook but the girl who grew up on her own can't scenes, particularly if it's going to reduce the time for other scenes, theirs or from side couples, that add more to their stories.

And maybe it's only me but isn't the SFL looking at the half-brother rather than the VP during the shooting scene?
And during the team dinner the VP is sitting right beside her but I'd swear she's definitely looking at the half brother at the far end of the table. And she's not looking at him in a hostile or indifferent way.

Ah yes, the time skip was bad and extreme, and the way they got over it so quickly, particularly YJW, made it even worse.

Yeah, it made no sense and it was badly explained. Felt like a lets put a break up every time we change from one country to the next.

Still the worst part for me was the Do Ra-Mi plot. I thought they had something going on after watching episode 9. Do Ra-Mi showed a more sympathetic and emphatic side and I thought what a great idea, the outspoken, devil may care side of her personality would eventually meet halfway with the shy, hopeless Cha Mu-Hui through healing and care.
And what did we get?
Oh look, she's her mum.

Dunno. Last episode 3 month/year separations for no good reason are not a novelty and can probably be traced back to Joseon times.

I have to kinda agree and yet, at the same time, I enjoyed it and managed to finish it, which hasnt' happened a lot with kdramas lately.
But yeah, I though the misundestandings were a bit too much and the Canada break up was particularly stupid, and don't get me started with the parents' plot twist and separation. Completely unnecessary and absurd on its own.
Regarding the split personality, I loved the Do Ra- Mi of episode 9 and I thought they were onto something. It reminded me a bit of both It's ok not to be ok and Oh my ghost but those two were on point and knew what they were doing, whereas here it ended up in a car crash.

She is not into relationships, and one with the ML is/would be even more problematic and challenging for obvious reasons.
Frankly, I still don't know how they end up together in 2016 at all given what we've seen so far, there is absolutely no romantic interest on her side. Zero.

This. Sometimes (always) you need to adjust your expectations to the show you're watching. ML and FL both could be great actors but this is probably not the show to find out. Script's not great but then they usually aren't, and it is a lot worse when the show tries or is supposed to be serious. That's not the case here. Again, expectations.
