Im glad someone finally understands that not every piece of source material can be translated directly to the…
You said it perfectly! And yes i was ecstatically surprised when i saw su ho at he end credits. In fact, I prefer this to the webtoon. The fact that Si-Eon gets to finally move on from the guilt and have his friend back. Su Ho is immensely popular so I'm definitely hoping for S3 and S4 with Su Ho and the new friends that Si-Eon has found. Their interactions would be epic!
I completely agree with you and the thing is, i have read the webtoon as well and i find it interesting how the comments ive been reading from those that love season 1 and have read the webtoon are disappointed with the flow of the S2. In my opinion, its always difficult to adapt a story to a show and they'd need to be creative doing that. Not everything translates well on TV, moreover they only had 8 episodes, unfortuantely that means they would have to cut on certain storylines and characters from the webtoon in order to not overly condense and have a coherent story. I absolutely loved how they handled it and i dont mind that they changed up the storyline. The fighting scenes are just as impactful and intense as season 1. People can't be expecting Si-Eon to be the same person from Season 1. He has baggage now and is traumatized. That means the way he responds and acts would be different.
