I love how the story's going in ep 29 and 30. I'm glad that they finally had a proper kiss (not just one, but two)! That duel scene during the Mid-Autumn banquet is just excellent. I like how He Yan used that as an opportunity to cast doubts on He Ru Fei's identity/abilities before all the officials. Her calmness and his agitation were giving him away. And Xu Ping Ting is such an annoying brat.
Just finished episode 30 and the ending is such a cliffhanger! Can't wait for tomorrow's episodes. For now, I'll have to make do with the teasers for eps 31 to 34.
The strategizing, battle scene and He Yan and Xiao Jue fighting together in episode 26 are excellent and worth rewatching!
One thing I appreciate in eps 25 and 26 is that He Yan's military genius, leadership and commanding presence really shine through. I mean, we see these in previous episodes, but they are in full force here.
The story's going well and I'm excited for episode 26!
He Ru Fei is such a wicked and despicable character - conniving with the Wu Tuo tribe and betraying his deputy generals, among other things. I haven't read the book, so I'm eager to see what his end would be.
