Just started this drama and the localisation of the subtitles is really horrendous. How am I supposed to remain immersed in the story when I read that character has just told the emperor to "simmer down"?

Enjoyed this drama at the beginning but the Nanwu plot really weakened it along with the fact they made Princess Rong Yang so superpowered. When villains are so strong that the heroes can't realistically win the drama is reduced to cartoonry.

Princess Rong Yang rebelled, killed your crown prince and 6th prince right in front of you, threatened the rest of your family members, killed the empress you claimed to love so much, yet you are telling her if she repents and admits her crime you will spare her death. lol bro bsfr right now.

I cannot take him seriously at all. It was already ridiculous that he had not a single inkling of her true nature all these years. Time for an era change.
