Here I am for the 3rd time for Episode 3, which I feel like was a lot better tbh..!!😅😅 Still a comedic goldmine…
Agree with everything! I thought First's role-playing acting was pretty convincing! I found KeenCaptain's scenes surprisingly hot, compared to some of the other NC scenes, so interested to see where that goes. Prom is ALL kinds of hot.
That's what I thought, it doesn't make sense for him to be mute especially because he's only been deaf for 3 years.…
I agree with you, though I have no experience with deafness so I probably shouldn't make assumptions. I think it would have made more sense if his character had been deaf from birth BUT then the rest of it wouldn't have made sense, so I think we have to kind of ignore it.
Moonlight Chicken was pretty nice to watch. It was simple and neither too quick nor too slow paced. The characters…
I agree with your confusion! The first time I watched it, I was probably too spellbound by the GemFourth chemistry to have caught the "three years" information, but on a rewatch I realized, hey, that doesn't make total sense.
it was quite literally produced by OMO for their campaign so it's only normal that their promoting it in the episode…
Exactly! Plus we got to hear their song, "You're Blushing?", in a different context than their music video, which was great! And we got some very adorable moments from them and the rest of the gang, so for me it was not a waste of time at all. 🥰🥰
Since we're talking about product placement, I have to say that MSP in general does it really well. Sure, it's still obvious, but at least they make an effort to weave it into the story unlike some other series where it's super obvious they've just stuck it in.
That book scene...The last part with the good night...The way Day smiles every time he does things on his own…
Can you, or someone else, explain the "good night" meaning to me? I got that it ended up meaning something in particular, like tender or romantic or sweet, but I don't know if that's because there's a different way of saying it if you're talking to someone who's just a friend.
Not sure this is what you need, but before it aired I found this character explainer helpful: https://www.reddit.com/r/boyslove/comments/17nwsbu/playboyy_the_series_new_character_info_translated/.…
You're welcome! I'm curious how they're going to juggle all of the couples; I'm assuming that each ep will only show maybe 3 or 4 max because otherwise it's just going to be too much!
I also thought about that, because I don't think he was actually abducted. Maybe the pizza guy is only pretending…
Hmm, I didn't think about it being recorded; does it need to be? I guess maybe Soong is or will be recording First crying/suffering to send to the dad to convince them? I also wondered if First was deliberately not telling his friends where he was (random parking garage??) so they would also think the kidnapping was real to back up the story.
I think a lot of posters here are sexophobics. No, seriously.
Not sure I agree, though I certainly haven't read all of the thousands of comments, but after the ep aired some of us were having a good time poking fun at the, shall we say, not excellent aspects of this series and laughing about the ridiculousness of some of what we'd just seen. I can only speak for myself when I say I'm far from being a sexophobe and I would love - and I mean LOVE - to see some hot NC scenes in this series...but so far I haven't (in my opinion only, of course).
I love your user name, btw. 😄👍
It was extremely cute *and* new MSP content, so very happy I saw it!
