I'm really enjoying Last Twilight but it's ongoing so not sure if you're looking for only completed shows.

Someone said that?? I agree that it's insulting to KP! Now THOSE NC scenes had actual heat and chemistry, and the show itself had an actual plot (which, to be fair, Playboyy may reveal in due time). I'll give Playboyy another couple of eps to see if it improves but at this point I think I'd rather use the time to rewatch KP. 😉

Random observation I'd forgotten to make when it aired: why on earth is "fake policeman stripper/sex worker" wearing a leather hat with faux fur ear flaps?? Is he supposed to be from Canada?? I've always had the impression that it's hot 100% of the time in Thailand so that part of his costume stuck out to me! 😂

And what's going on with Soong's hair? In the trailer, it was bleached and he looked pretty hot, but now it's a weird brown? Is that why we didn't get the pizza scene from the trailer, because of his hair color change?

You've laid out my thoughts better than I ever could! And yes, that's exactly it: the explicit scenes we saw in the trailer were somehow more compelling than what we saw in this ep (of course, it is only one ep so can't judge how the rest will be), either because of the editing or the music or *something*.

I will give them a small pass on the plot considering they've only just started. We know the twin bro is missing and we know that some people are probably gonna get scammed. The rest of the plot I guess we'll find out in the next few eps.

I know! I feel like one of the set designers saw it in a magazine and thought, Let's do that! 😅

That's my main issue with it, the lack of chemistry. I'm not sure if it's because these are inexperienced actors (I believe this is the first series for all of them), or there weren't chemistry tests, or what, but so far the pairings have left me a bit cold. We will probably meet the other pairings in the next ep or two so I'll see how they are, but like you said, hopefully there'll be more zing between them with time.

Yes! I'd forgotten Mark was in LT, which I'm also watching. It does seem to be a much more serious role, which is great, though he is SO good at comedy. Pure and sweet is *exactly* what MSP delivers!! 🥰🥰🥰

Mark was also in Moonlight Chicken though his role wasn't as funny as it is in MSP (I laughed out loud in most, if not all, of the eps!).
And yes, I think you've nailed it: their love is pure. I mean, don't get me wrong, I adore KP and other series with messy, adult love, but GunTinn are just so pure and perfect. I also haven't seen *that* many series so I suppose at some point I may see a "better" pairing (or just as good but different) but right now I don't think I could.

OMG, I wish I were you!!! There is nothing more wonderful to me than seeing something amazingly perfect for the first time and that's how I'd have to describe MSP and the Li Meng/Heart storyline of MC!! I actually started with Moonlight Chicken and really enjoyed it, and fell in love with GemFourth. I knew they'd done MSP but at the time I thought, A high school series? Eh, I'm a bit old for that so I'll hold off on it. Then after Only Friends ended, I thought hey, I'll watch something light and fluffy so maybe a good time for MSP. I WAS SO WRONG! I have fallen totally in love with them and have laughed and cried my way through all the MSP eps except the finale (I almost cannot bear to finish it so I've been holding off). I cannot explain why it's affected me so much but to me, it's PERFECT. These young men are SUCH good actors and have amazing close friend chemistry (not sure how else to put it, kind of like OhmNanon in Bad Buddy but even better), and the series features Mark Pakin, who is a GEM. I am totally serious when I say that I am considering getting this doodle as a tattoo: https://mydramalist.com/photos/RwVkV_3. I LOVE this series and for me it's a 10/10, but I know not everyone enjoys what seems to be called a "rom-com," but I have found much more emotion in MSP to call it that.

I detest smoking but THAT is an amazing gif! 🔥🔥 And yes, Apo always seemed totally convincing in whatever the scene needed him to do: humor, pathos, sexy (especially that!), whatever! I feel the same way about Fourth's charisma (well, he's adorable so not yet sexy, at least to me!) and charm, just such natural talents (though maybe they do work really hard at it, I shouldn't discount that!).

LOL! Oh, he's something to behold, KaowOat, but at least from this one ep I'm not convinced about his acting abilities, so will have to rate Bible and Apo *just* a bit higher on my scale. 😂😂 For me, Apo has got SO much natural charm, it just jumps off the screen.
