We know they were best friends and at some point at the start he told someone that he'd killed someone he'd loved (or that someone he'd loved had died), but I'm not sure it was clear in the flashbacks that he was crushing on Kong. But I guess maybe we can assume he was.

I think in earlier eps they called him "godfather" and "stepfather." But okay, so Peace, or Songmin, is his only blood-related son so that's why it's so important for him to have heirs.

Okay, so it isn't totally clear what Joe's job is, and I thought that we were told, during a conversation between Yao and Aim, that Joe was pushing 3 times as much drugs for her to sell, so wouldn't Sun be destroying Joe's drug supply in the end?
