Tyme has a girlfriend in the series, he called her when he was in the hospital but Tyme didn't look happy at all…
Does anyone have a translation for the Thai we see on Tyme's phone when he receives her call? I'm not sure I agree that he answered it unintentionally because he waited several seconds while Den walked away and he looked at the screen a few times before answering, though I agree that he didn't look happy. Den said say, "you have your hands full" with her, which I think implies some kind of trouble.
Ooh, I saw your earlier comment about the girlfriend's name. Is that what's written in Thai, Natcha? Or did you get that elsewhere?
I thought her placement in the tunnel was problematic, like he didn't know where she'd come from, and wasn't this…
I'd have to rewatch but I thought that the first time he hit her, the car was going quite fast, like he was speeding, and she was neither breathing nor moving, but the second time, because the car wasn't going as fast and he was expecting her, the impact wasn't as hard and that's when we saw her obviously breathing.
You are right that the first time he didn't check her to make sure she was alive or dead, which is definitely not what we'd want or expect him to do, and does let us know that maybe he's not as good of a person as we'd like him to be.
Is it just me or did anybody else feel like bible looks a bit too old to play a college student π€
I can't disagree and I'm hoping there'll be some concrete reason for making him 21 and not closer to his real age. Ooh, maybe there will be a time jump? I mean, of several years?
And related to that, is Tyme supposed to be the same age? I believe they've established that he's a junior surgeon in his final year of residency, which wouldn't be reasonable if he were only 21. Not that they have to be the same age, of course.
No, for sure, but maybe Tyme didn't correct him because he didn't want to. π€·ββοΈ I'm just wary of believing something another character says in passing, and hopefully we'll find out if she exists and if she's the (soon to be ex-)girlfriend in the next ep.
But we never do get confirmation that it's the girlfriend on the other end of the line, right? We never hear a female voice, as far as I remember, so it's only Dr. Den's "word" for it.
Loved the first ep!! Very engaging. So excited to watch how the plot unfolds. Can't wait to see how Tyme & Great…
lol, GMMTV excels in their own type of series and can leave the more explicit ones to other production companies, though in their defense they do know how to bring the heat when they have a solid pairing and a writer to match.
There's only one scene . It's realistic, it' s well shot, and it gives us some clever hints about Korn and Tonkla's…
I may agree with you that this series is using sex to get our attention...but I for one don't have a problem with that. "Sex sells" and I'm buying it - FOR SURE - so I say bring it on. What I can't agree with yet, since we've literally seen only one ep, is that this series is using sex to mask lack of storyline or character development.
I thought her placement in the tunnel was problematic, like he didn't know where she'd come from, and wasn't this…
I thought it was because, unlike the second time, the first time she was obviously dead so he would have been arrested for vehicular manslaughter or whatever they would call it there
