I agree with some of this but not all.

On the way he is caught by Phop who kills him, likely because he believes that Nuth may choose him over Phop and doesn’t want to take that chance. // When the murder happened, I didn't think Phop had seen the clip, right? But he already knew that Nuth and Nant had had a relationship and that Nant was dead, right? I thought the fact that Nant had been wearing the mask was why Phop was so upset after he killed him, because he didn't know who it was BEFORE he suffocated him.

It was truly awkward.

So wait...Zouey has a big crush on Lee when he's around 20. Lee rapes him. After that, Zouey is traumatized, as one would expect. A year goes by, he turns 21, then he meets Teena, etc. Then Lee returns and the boys come up with their plan to investigate him, which requires Zouey to meet with Lee about the art scholarship...and seemingly they pretend they don't know each other?? Why would Zouey agree to meet with his rapist?? And why wouldn't Lee be even MORE creepy with him?

Yes!! So was Nant still addicted to drugs after all that time? How was he SO good at hiding that no one EVER saw him at the club? And how would that even work?

Also, did Zouey say he got Lee to "kidnap" Nant? But then he was just hiding?

He did tell at least one friend, Nant, who wanted to expose Lee because of that and wanted Zouey to be a witness...but Zouey said that couldn't happen? That's what I don't understand. And no, didn't look like Jason but I thought it was supposed to be him.

That's what I thought too! So why kill the person who's supposed to give you money for your drugs? But where did Nant get the money?
