it's a nice watch at 4am when my insomnia is kicking in.... I binge watched it, took me less then an hour and now try to sleep some more. It was ok, didn't rock my world, but didn't hate it either...
At first it annoyed the hell out of me, having watched too many crime/investigation/serial killers docu's, all I could see were the "mistakes", but then I switched it off (Vie, it's not a real crime series, it's a BL) and I fell for this..... Hard. I was desperately wanting something other then high-school boys, engineer/doctor students and I find it in this. Where the West is better in Vampire/werewolf ( I deeply apologize for Twight) , Asia exceeds expectations in spritually/demons/ghosts/...
Ep1: a lot of tough words without any tough action. Or as we say in Belgium "a lot of blablabla without the boom boom boom". His inner voice was like: "2000, I need it, I can endure whatever for 1 night", then there was some sloppy kissing and he was already freaking out 😂. But.... I will continue watching, giving this the benefit of the doubt
Ep2: the only thing loud, explicit and worthy of this 2000 dollars, was my inner voice. What actually happened that night? Nobody knows....
Ep3: I get where they are getting at, but, maybe it's because of bad cuttings or bad screen writing, it feels like I'm missing half of the storyline. .
Ep4 was just all over the place. I don't know what was creepier: the way he sneaked in the "classroom", the way he "accepted" the apple, the way he was moaning like he was being tortured when actually nothing happened or the dialogue..
By now I'm thinking "thank God, it's just 10minof awkwardness".... Not that it's bad, but it feels like a schoolproject from a freshman. Plants move out itself, glasses are on and off, shirts are getting unbuttoned while already being barechested in the previous take,....
My Gosh, those last 2 episodes just had to carry it all... Break up, make up, youth trauma, mother issues, plot twists, revelations, drawning, poisening , self sacrifice, eternal love..... I hoped it would have ended with a steamy NC scene, then we truly had it all. It was a bit much.. Glad I watched it, but would I re-watch it (like I did with Bad Buddy, Tharn Type, Love Mechanics and Sotus)... Probably not. I would love to see more series with Hasun and JJ, preferably without too much clothes on... I know, I should say something about acting skills, but the visions of their legs and upper body are still burned on my retina.
Besides a lot of frowning, awkward conversations, a few shallow card readings.... Nothing much is happening. A see a lot of good ideas which are poorly executed. I believe this looked better on paper
OK, this is the kind of series that I need after a rough day. A couple so in love they work out shit, instead of breaking up over nothing, not communicating and thus keeping the misunderstandings going..... They face pressure together, not giving up on personal goals and still fighting for their love. I absolutely love this
you and I are on the exact same page. We accept that others may overlook certain things, but some hurts are too…
I lost my soulmate to cancer when I was young, and for me series need to fill me with fluffyness, romance, humor, happy endings..... Maybe scyfy, horror and suspense.... But not these kind of hurts. Betrayal, violations, rape, heartbreaks,... I just need to look around me, real life gives that enough already. So like I said : I don't want to say anything bad about the series, it's just not for me
It's not for me.... I'm not into this kind of "healing after violation" - kind of stories... The pace is just too slow for me. The healing proces, the deep emotional conversations, etc.... I'm not cut out for this. It's probably a great series, and I was so glad to see Ja back, but I guess to each their own?
He was just amazing in "Love in the moonlight". To me, he made the series. Besides the fact that he is absolutely gorgeous, his acting was perfect as well, his eyes were full of emotions, no overacting, he moved me throughout 12 episodes .
I've never been so desperately wishing for an happy ending... Because man, did they fight for it. Although the last episode was a bit chaotic and over the top, still I loved every second of this series.

What do you mean "part of the crowd"?
Probably not, because I'm never part of a crowd, I'm more an einzelgänger 😁
