There are so many like open hints that they have not just brotherly feelings for each other. I love the lines in Episode 20, where Pei Su said to the girl „in this lifetime you will never meet someone willing to give his life for you“ and then we see Zhao Wenzhou starring at him behind the mirror with that look in his eyes (because Pei Su literally shielded Zhao Weizhou with his body during the bomb explosion). And basically right after that, when Tao says „you can‘t trust even the one you love“ and again Zhao Wenzhou close up shot and then we have the trust issue between them.
There is a slight possibility from recent episodes. But now it's about if feelings will be reciprocated.
True. It started in episodes 23-24, when XZ said to her son to not call him Gege, how he ran to the hospital and then the jealousy towards the ex-husband. In the episodes 25-26 his feelings were more obvious. We still have about 8 episodes to go, so maybe Hu Manli will catch feelings too. At least for now, she didn't really wanted him to move out of the house. And honestly, they are there for each other and help each other in their most desperate and low moments in life. In my opinion they would make a really good power couple.

I really like the FL here. I think she is a really great character. So mature, not childish, with strong will, brave and yet delicate. Such likeable FL characters is really rare in Chinese dramaland. Respect to the writer, screenwriter and the actress for deliver us such a character. And generally the plot is really well written.
I wonder if there will be romance between the FL and ML, because it is not mentioned in the tags. But for me Xiaozhou and his girlfriend don´t match. They have different values. In my opinion he is more compatible with the FL.
I really like that they have proper case investigation and the audience can follow it and is not left behhind. That is what I missed in the drama Melody of Golden Age.
