First the title make me hestitate to watch it, because I was expecting a dumb comedy. Glad I give it a try. It is just GREAT! Super funny, great characters and plot. Eun Chae Ni is hilarious. Wish I could be so free-spirited and authentic as she is. Stranger Things - Korean version. I am in for season 2.
The way Didi played Ran Fangxu is awesome. He said in an interview, that this character has least in common with himself. That so true I could not see Wang Hedi in Ran Fangxu at all. For me it was an authentic person- Ran Fangxu.
Wang Hedi also said that the director often said to him to move less, because Wang Hedi like to gesture, smile and is very expressive. But Ran Fangxu is very serious. There is definitely hard work behind the performance. Glad he has chosen this project. Hope there will be more roles like that. Wang Hedi is especially attractive when serious.

I recommend you to watch Wang Hedi's movie "Per Aspera Ad Astra" (星河入梦). It is really good. And Didi's performance is great. It helps me a bit to move on from the series, though Ran Fangxu really has my heart.

It is an amazing drama, and I totally agree with everyone saying that this was one of the best performances by Wang Hedi. His portrayal of Ran Fangxu definitely goes onto my list of favorite and unforgettable characters. The plot was also really well written, and I love how the transitions from 1997, 2002, 2015 were done. The scenes when He Yuanhang and Xiao He "saw" Ran Fangxu were so heart touching. I cried my eye out! 😭The dynamic of Ran Fangxu, He Yuanhang and Xiao He was great. They truly are a family. Ren Min, the actress, who played Xiao He even said in an interview, that for Xiao He, Ran Fangxu was like a mother. 🫠The actress playing Qiao Suqing did also an amazing job. In her last scene, when she passes ways with Xu Meng you can clearly see the hate in the eyes of Qiao Suqing and love in Xu Meng's— toxic and obsessive, but still love. POWERFUL DRAMA, so I don't get, why the rating is so low.
I have to say that the scene in the shower and later the talk about getting intimate was soooo beautifully and respectfully done. I am getting annoyed by the nc scenes GMMTV is doing lately. They are often not even romantic or anything. Instead Domundi is handling it just right.
I think I never disliked a character sooo fast as I dislike tiw - or whatever the hell his name is. I do not think…
I also think that it is not the full story. We got to know earlier that Qin was kind of hurt by Tiw so he closed himself up. And also the Teddy bear. The Teddy seems to be important to Qin, but I doubt hardly it is because Tiw give it to him. Maybe it somehow has to do with Duang??? Would be a funny twist when the Teddy Duang hit so many times is actually a memory of him.
Will the reaction of the cast to ep 5 air today (tuesday)? This series is amazing. I'm literally watching each episode 3 times. First - when it airs, second- afterhours reaction (i like her reaction to BLs a lot) and third - the cast reaction.
I really hope we get a second season as soon as possible. I usually avoid short series because they often suffer from weak writing and acting, but this one was a pleasant surprise. It captivated me from the very first episode. Definitely goes to my favorites.
