I just started watching the drama but there was a part i really liked and wanted to share. It's from episode 6: 我与张郎君看到的，本就是两个世界。就像张郎君看到鱼跃出水，惊鸿一瞥，殊不知这水下你死我活. English meaning ( this is the netflix subtitle translation) : I see the world differently from you. It's like you think a fish jumping out of the water is a beautiful sight, but they fight to the death underwater. Zhang jin were judging the choices Duan wu were making. But she wanted to explain to him that he has the privilege of being a honourable person that doesn't need to do anything he doesn't believe in, while she is just trying to survive another day. I really liked that analogy she made with the fish because she was a pearl diver and she experienced violence and greedy people tried to kill her for profit. She really struggled and still struggling to make a living any way she can, but the Zhang jin is a scholar from a privileged backgroundand didn't worked physically a day in his life (i think based on what i saw until now but i could be wrong). So after she told him this analogy ( in the analogy she is the fish that fights to death under water to survive and he is the person that literally standing above her and looking from upwards and thinking what a beautiful sight is the pearls and completely cluelessly thinks life is easy and beautiful for the fish that tries provides that, i mean the pearl divers). After he understood where he was wrong he admitted his mistake for judging someone while he never experienced the same situation as that person, but actually he also made a great argument. He suggested that a sincere approach can lead to a better result. (I don't want to explain in a more detailed way to not reveal any spoilers). Anyways i liked the point he made too and in the end she listened to his advice and the result turned out really well for her. I really like this drama until now and can't wait to watch more of it!!!!
