I'm glad that other viewers are seeing similarities between "Kieta Hatsukoi" and "Cherry Magic". This series has started off very well with their plot. Aoki slowly discovering that he IS finding himself having feelings for both Hashimoto and Ida.

I'm really enjoying "Kieta Hatsukoi". I love that we either get super sweet love stories like "Cherry Magic" or really adult and sexualized dramas "Mood Indigo" with these Japanese love stories. I like all 4 of the main characters so far.

Hopefully, we'll get more than a 5 minute reunion scene.

Exactly. Fiat's need to basically "show his belly" to Leo in deference to appeasing the very insecure part of Leo, is him trying to "make up" for all the years of him not believing in Leo's love for him. What will be enough for both of them to be secure? Why wasn't that established in the series for Leo and Fiat, instead of that incredibly misplaced sex scene?

Hahah!!! I am glad that I wasn't the only viewer taken aback by the disturbing scene, in which Fiat was okay with hearing that Leo's fears about Fiat leaving makes him want to keep Fiat locked up inside some woodshed that Leo only has access to get inside. I just don't get why that over the top obsessive and possessive trope is constantly used in these tv adaptions of Mame's stories. Is she working through something that she experienced in her own life, and is using these situations and having two male characters reenacting it, because it's deemed "different" by her audience?

This series was wonderful. I want to see more from this director, screenwriter, along with the two main actors.

I know that there is another segment of the Innocent series airing later this month.

Also, these are very talented performers, since this project is their first time acting in an series.

I find nothing wrong with the time length of these episodes. The storyline has a good star and the chemistry between the main couple and the group of friends/co-workers is fantastic!!

I cannot watch this series and not end up craving Thai food. I also end up thinking that Pharm from UWMA should turn up here to intern for the summer with the pastry chef!!

I am enjoying this series, because the characters don't come across to me as college aged students written as pre-teens. Fiat is an attractive young gay man, who has experienced his fare share of sexual experiences, relationships, but has never shared his heart with anyone, due to his crush on Leo, his best friend from childhood. Come to find out, Leo has also been nursing a long-time crush on Fiat. How do these two navigate the passage from friends to boyfriends? How does Fiat deal with the less than experienced Leo? How does Leo handle Fiat's past experiences and boyfriends, when they appear back into their lives?

I'm invested!!

From what I am seeing as a 49 year old woman, most viewers of BL series really cannot handle or accept real life situations being written in these storylines. They just want the cutesy, sweet, same old repetitive BL drama where everybody is happily ever after at the end of each episode. I liked that the writers showed that Korn, who has been in love with Knock since they were kids, was the one who had issues with his father accepting his son and his relationship.
