Xu Wai Lou! He’s on there for Ming Zhu Er instead of “Genius”

So I caved and started this despite not all episodes being released (close enough phew) as I kept seeing reviews and comments calling this a masterpiece. Seriously I wish I had better words to describe how amazing the martial arts scenes are, how passionate the characters are and how great it is to see Yang Yang comeback strongly with his top tier acting which I have missed. You can tell he did not sit idle whilst he was taking a break. His hard work really shows! Anyone else on the fence about this drama because there is no romance and maybe not enticing enough to keep you hooked. Please watch the first couple of episodes and make your own assessment! You will not regret it

Same!! I haven’t been watching k dramas for a while they all start strong until the final episodes and then it’s either they need to rush wrap up story or decided to take a weird detour. I’ve been heartbroken that they don’t deliver anymore. This one has restored me (praying final 2 do not end badly)

I see your point about the Queen Mother. I do like seeing her learning to do the right thing when she tried to warn I A but he didn’t pick up her call. She’s sadly also a victim of her father using her to gain power in court and losing her own identity then she went down a bad path. I do hope she can face her own inner demons peace and happiness. Especially with her young son who just needs his mum and to be a child

Dying with laughter over Sa Ding Ding humming her own song whilst picking toxic mushrooms 🤣 I love it when she does these kooky cameo roles they suit her so well
