but more so, to prove to the woman he love that he is a reliable guy, that he can do it, not only physically he can be a good help for her, but also confidently to become a finacially stable guy someday , i can catch up with the level of your status and can be a man that you can rely on in everything in life------That's the kind of ML he is in this drama.

If you like that kind of ml in a drama, this drama is really for you. If you love Xiao Zhan in The Oath of Love , you will also fall in love with XiAoZhan as Shen Yang's character in this story. He is really a truly sunshine in this story.

I like Bai Bai He , of course she is a good actress too( watched most of her dramas). I think she also portrayed her character well , as at first hesitant 36 yrs old divorced woman who enter a relationship with a 10 yrs younger guy than her. Then , after she ended her 10 yrs marriage to her cheating husband, she seems to have this emotional witholding character that it sometimes hard for me to read. But then the past of her childhood memory , a cheating husband, an overbearing sister and unwanted suitor,
That's probably explained why she's kind of not too much engaging . Until she slowly bit by bit gradually opening up her emotion, herself to SY and then later when the episode progress you can see her starting to became comfortble to the company of SY. I think those projection of her characterin this drama was well acted by her.

Xiao Zhan's acting and his portrayal of Shen Yang 's character really sticking out to me here! My most loved character in this drama. After i watched The Oath Of Love which my introduction to him and watching this latest drama of him which is my favorite genre , curioused how he gonna pull off himself as an actor portraying a head over heels younger man - older woman romance. After i completed this series, he really didn't disappoint me. HE NAILED IT! Now i can put him in my favorite category noona romance actors like Lee Jong - Suk of RIABB, Jung Hae- in of SITR, Park Seo Joon of WR, Wang Ziyi of WWL, Song Wei Lo of FY, Wang Anyu of FIY and the list goes on.There were times that my heart was so heavy for him , sad when he is sad and happy when he is happy in this drama.

I love the characters of Shen Yang's parents.
Their beckering is cute, reminds me of my parents in law who are like cat and dog beckering most of their entire marriage life but they truly love and cannot live without each other. I'm glad SY's mother turned out not to be really a hardcore disagreeable mother. For a while I thought, she will be one of those typical character villain mother( like the mother in Something In the Rain) in most asian dramas , but Im glad she softened up later in the episodes once she saw how determined SY and proved to her that he is not backing down even if it means that he will be on his own.

I also love the friendship between SY , Song Chen and Pan Rou. Song Chen as a best friend of Sy is very admirable. He is very supportive and always there for SY no matter what his goal in life , even that means to resigned his job just to show him his support. A kind of friendship like that is just rare but also reminds you and appreciate the beauty of friendship you have with few people you know in life.
I love also the love story of Song Chen and Pan Rou, it tooks a while for Song Chen to have a courage to confess his feelings for Pan Rou but when he finally did it and was accepted, they' re inseparable. They're the side couple characters i liked in this drama .
There are some annoying side characters but most of the time i just skipped their scenes.

There is no skinship in this drama, here more of hugging and forehead kissing. Although i can live with it because of the overpoweringly great acting or portrayal of Xiao Zhan , but I would be lying if i said i dont need a lips kissing or some tender loving moment scenes.
Im not saying really deep but it would be nice to see a little vibes of like ROMANCE IS A BONUS BOOK drama( it's a perfect example to me)--- which is also a slow burn romance , writer really takes her time to emphasized the viewers throughout the series that love cannot only be measured by physical touch but by showing how much you care that person in so many loving and caring ways , it was really demonstrated well in that drama and the same thing here in SBMS, the only difference is that in RIABB ep 13-16) near towards the end of the series, writer really gave the viewers a many eye candy scenes. A physical interactions that it's not so over the top but it's just right in the middle, still maintaining the wholesome and decency of the drama but at the same time it is so satisfying to the eyes of the viewers.

Overall the story and the acting is really good specially XZ. He is mainly the reason
Why I endure the slow moving plot of this drama. I enjoy and i frustrated sometimes but all in all am very happy and satisfied the ending specially in the award ceremony scene( minus the given enough time of the hockey couple in the last episode).

There is no break-up, no heavy misunderstanding, no love triangle
No ex - girlfriend come back ( our hero is just so pure in this drama), no evil parents , no accident or any amnesia plot , not complicated and It is really easy to follow drama .
I highly recommend it for those viewers who like to watch this kind of genre!

She just got married when her father committed suicide after the failure of their company. She and her mom were left with amount of debt and constantly harrashed by loan shark to collect the payment but thsy really are broke . Her husband , a doctor who came from upscale family was forced by his mother to divorced her because she doesnt want her son to shoulder the responsibility of paying the debts of his wife's family ( so where is the for better and worse??). Since the husband is mama's boy and got no balls to stand up for his wife to his mother, so he divorced her.

To make the 24 episodes story short, she found a new love, younger than her but really really love her. He is a son of the company that his father wants to collaborate in their business in which he put all his investment to the point that his father also taking a loan to loan sharks people to open another branch oversea but ML's company rejected him in the end and caused her father to end his life.

It's an easy to follow drama and I enjoyed it
Minus the controlling freaks mothers and annoying 2nd FL who has a one- sided love to the ML.

The amazing chemistry between the ML and FL ? definitely loved it! You have to pass 14 episodes first before the romance happens . But the kiss and their lovey dovey scenes to me really makes up the some draggy parts of the show. Both ML and FL are super good in their kissing scenes and you're talking in asian typical drama , you can rarely see a real open mouth kissing , but this drama is one of those just few dramas i saw that has a real not statue or fish kiss but an open lips kissing which actors very convincing to the viewers that they are into it in their
role .

I loved both ML and FL strong and not easily to be tricked by people who chased after them for their love. ML is firmed and very straightforward to 2nd FL that his love is only for FL and will never change.
FL , once she was dumped by her ex , she never go back to her no matter how he is trying to get her back. He really regretted big time. When he dumped her and let his mother manipulated him , the ex- wife was really loved and treasured by ML. As the
Saying goes
" One man's trash, another Man's treasure".

The story has a pot hole, there's a break up in one episode in the last 3 episode but it was resolved in the next episode. Although the ending is happy ending but at the same time a cliff hanging but I enjoyed overall.
You have to watch it for yourself to know what I mean.

Mentally draining, , full of fiasco, tiring , Reveng is a joke!!!!

if you have anxiety, bp problem, ulcer and temper , i highly NOT recommend you this drama . Just reading the feedbacks of 127-128 ,it already upsets me of how crazy and rediculos this drama is!

I won'mind watching a long series drama but at least if it's making sense. This drama , not only long originally 122 episodes but they extended it to 132 episodes, for what???? To show more how failures and losers the main leads are , and how smart evil people , and always the leads of winning from ep 2 until at this recent episode (126).

It was started good in first 2 episodes but right after that and until we are almost now to the end of this drama ( just 5 more eps left), it is a non- stop scenes of villains succeeding their evil deeds, and main leads specially the FL, she's one of the most naive ,undesirable heroine in the kdrama land to me. You would think that , since she started being a naive and weak in the early of the series her character would become smarter ,more meticulous and careful planning later for her enemies but as the episode by episode progress later , her character became dumber and dumber and its just all the talk and not the work. And when she executed her plan, it so lame and it even backlashed to her. I hate her character being so always so secretive (her principle is suck! because it's her issue so she will solve it by herself) and not opening to the ML , where he is more capable to help her, but instead she married the chairman and it became more chaotic.

Also another one thing i hated also in this drama is , there were so many " almost caught and many almost revealing the truth moments" , oh my gosh my bp really spiked every time it occurs in most of the episode in this drama, it just only stopped when its in the 90's episodes.
From very early episode of this drama until we are now in episode 126, the evil people keep outsmarting and winning vs the main leads. FL came out strong not until the 90's episodes, and I cannot say bad to the ML's character bcoz he is always there for the FL , its just the FL character to me almost throughout the drama doesnt really impressive , her carelessness and her pride that she can manage her revenge is just all failures.
Writers will just gave the viewers a little taste of winning from our main leads which we thought it will be continuos since we are a lmost already to the end of the drama but nope , writer is not yet done of planting many obstacles and torturing the main leads.
Romance, don't expect either, so far were now heading to only 5 more episodes left but throughout of this drama so far, theres just only little scene of the main leads being together and being lovey dovey, it just very slight and it even so awkward.

5 more episodes left, i hope the writer will focus of romance to the main leads and no interrupting punishments and put a lot of consequences to this evil people mainly Chairman and Kang Se Ran , she doesnt deserve to have JH, JH deserve to have a decent and good woman( but i have a feeling there will be a happy ending for them , bummer?).
Chairman and Kang Seran should be locked up in jail or i dont know maybe have themsome kind of a car accidents.
Chang Chul a number 1 cheater and amazingly has no conscience, make him become a homeless or some kind a disable . He should be on JH position now.

As for our main leads, Im sure the writer will give the viewers a happy ending ( no sorry but your drama is suck! ) but i have a feeling it will be rush. But the process of their sufferings in this drama is so mentally draining!Im only finishing it bcoz i already invested my time . But from now on any drama written by Seo Hyun Joo, ill 100% pass.
Overall, to me this drama is not worth watching. Im not recommending this to anyone! In fact , it's one of the stupidest, craziest, mentally draining, so painful to watch drama Ive ever seen in my 4 years of watching drama in kdrama land.

A heroine of all betrayed wives!!

OMG, you have to watch this drama! I think i found a really good writer who is finally have an ability to lift women's power up.
and I think i found my ideal betrayed wife
heroine who will not put up anymore all the BS that people around her threw at her underestimating her, thinking she's fool, naive and stupid.

When you watch the first 60 minutes of the first episode of the drama ( 1 hr. 10 min per episode), it's probably hard to watched because all you see within that time frame is the character of the female lead's naivety, pathetic and it angers you to watch the people around her treating her like some kind of fool. My only comfort within that time frame is the very promising interaction of my guy Sung Hoon and our FL Jung Yoo Min.
But anyways please, dont give up! Bcoz towards the end of the first episode is the beginning of FL's transformation from being weak and naive to a badass one. The character development of the fl , happened right away in ep 1. And if you like the ending of ep 1 , you will be happy more??❤️ in ep 2. Also , Our male lead Sung Hoon ❤️really surpassed my expectation in this drama . Both ML and FL have a very good chemistry?!
What I liked in this cheating/ revenge drama
Is that unlike other betrayed wife drama , it will take many more episodes first before the wife's character action of revenge will be executed and no romance , sorry but if i watch a drama like this , i always prefer to have a romance and not just revenge, ill get bored but that just me. Also , you will not be disappointed of our main leads on- screen time, they have fairly descent time appearance on screen Ep 2 is the best example. Kudos to the writer!!

I cannot wait for the next episode, mainly i will be looking forward for FL and ML 's contract marriage and the process of their love blossoming while living together.
I will be looking forward FL's revenge to her family, the scumbag husband, the witch step sister and also it will be interesting how tge FL navigate to deal with ML's family( ML's mom seems like tge main hard core to deal with). But from what i saw ML's character, he seems like in love with her already and will be backing her up 100% specially now that he found out what FL been through

“ There’s no place like home”

I just stumbled this drama in YT , It’s fairly new and ongoing. I’m not fond in multi-main leads drama I’m more of a solo main leads drama viewer, but for some reason, when I started watching episode 1 , the drama gives me a good vibes and before I knew it , I already binge watching the first 5 episodes , I just have to endure the subtitle in YT which I know it’s not really 100% accurate but it’s understandable anyway.

One thing really captured me right away is how amazing and very cinematic , very eye captivating the scenery they showed particularly in this place or hometown where this 4 main leads characters originally came from. It makes me wants to go or visit that place. Also, even if it is early for me to say , but any 4 main leads characters in this story seems like really relatable of where you at in your life right now. I liked how they chose the respective actress who portrays each role , each of the character appeared cosmetically so natural ,and their appearance, their outfits it’s just believable in real life and not so looked -like so white or very bright face or with an OTT heavy make up and thick lipstick or need to have an actress with an hour glass body or a dressing a shabby clothes , it’s just right in the middle to me , perfect ,I liked so far all of the characters personality inner and outer.

So, this 4 friends was grew up together in this beautiful town ( I can’t remember the name of the place but this will be the setting of the story)but was working in different cities in their adulthood.
Something happened to each of their lives that brings them back together to their hometown, where they grew up.

First FL— Zhang Pei, she’s in an insurance business. Still single at her ripe age, successful in her career and she look stiff , strict , seems very capable independently woman , but seems like deep inside she’s lonely and vulnerable. She’s actually a big baby when she’s with her parents. I love her family, the caring mom and dad. If you grew up in a single parent household , it makes you dreamed and longed to have a family like hers. There’s a glimpsed of cute and handsome love interest of her later , so I’m excited to see and find out later. She attended blind dates but I feel what she felt ,those men are actually pretty bold and idiots to me, one blind date made me laugh , he said he wants his woman “ talk less and work less” , it’s funny ZP’s reaction and she answered “ but I’m an insurance agent and I need to work , so we are not suitable “ . lol?.


2nd FL— Gou Dan Dan, she’s a food vlogger, she dressed so fashionably , stylish ( I like all her outfits). She is in a 6 years relationship with her boyfriend. They lived together until one day , she surprised him to come home early and caught him cheating with his close friend a friend in that city where she lived before moving to her hometown.I like her character, fiesty and don’t put up any BS from the cheater and decided right away to dispatched him, cut all his communication to him and decided right away to move out from their place. Later she found out she got pregnant and this is where she decided to move back to her hometown for a good cause for her baby. I am excited to her story because there is a glimpsed of “ noona romance “ later n her life (noona romance is my favorite genre in drama).

3rd FL— Wu Yun, she is a civil servant, she seems like a timid and shy person but not when she’s with her grew up friends. She’s actually an upbeat and very talkative when she’s with them. Her character seems a very kind, so giving person. She might not have a body of hour glass woman , she looks tomboyish , but her genuine personality makes her a very attractive person( my opinion to her) . Actually I’m very excited to see her character development later. I like to know what will be her story later. I am sensing a " noona romance " story of her too.

Dong Jia Xi , the 4th FL, I think she’s the youngest of all the FL’s here. She works in the theater. She is a hard worker. I can’t wait for her to slam and quit her job in theater to be back in her hometown, those seniors and other people in the theater really take advantage of her too much that even if it’s not her job they really abused her
“ too obedient “ personality. She also have a cute love interest that I can sensed it later.

The first 5 episodes shows and introduced the viewers ( if my vibes not mistaken) the love interest of the 4 female lead characters. In fairness, they are all handsome and cute - minus the cheater, but even him he is not a bad looking either, but what a big cheater he is!

Even if it is early to say since it’s a very new drama , but this story has a magic of realizing one self about , no matter where you are in life , nor you are in beautiful abundant opportunities places you were and in now , there’s some point in your life that makes you appreciate the beauty of where you came from and the familiar smell, noise and the culture of the place where you originally came from is a very good realization that makes you utter “ I Wanna go home , please take me home .”

It’s a daily and 36 episodes drama , I can handle this lol , as long as it’s not too draggy. Will update this review later when I accomplish this series.

Very entertaining, fast paced and not boring

I was hesitated to watch the prequel, although Im a big fan of the first sequel SGBS , the supernatural power and the fluffy sugary cute romance plot of the Park couple that made me adore that drama .
Im afraid here in prequel they might not do it right and it will only disappoint me. Maybe because the synopsis wasnt really appealing to me. But then again there goes the saying
"Dont judge the book by its cover" , this is exactly what i felt in the first 2 episodes of this drama. I was surprised how I really liked it! The cinematography is jaw dropping! The flow of the story is fast paced , very enjoyable to watch and there's no minute that i didnt enjoy nor bored , i actually really enjoyed it and these are just only 2 episodes.
Now it make sense why it just only came in in Netflix for 2 days now and it's already trending and it reached to top 10 # 6 in US Netflix today. I think i found my favorite show this year!!
