I wouldnt say she is dumb but she has a lot of self hate in earlier episode she siad she shoudnt have been born and her parents would have been happy if she wasnt born, Thats why for me i dislike ml more than the con artists. He neglected his family for 7 yrs and after the death of his wife he become worse. That flashback when young Yi Na aks her mother if there is another child named Yi Na who he loves more than her was really heartbreaking
People in the comments keep only focusing on how Su ji is being rude to Wr and his family but missing out on all the times she has comprised and accepted their care. Plus if the rice cakes were not there she would have happily celebrated with the family. And if someone has such an extreme reaction to a particular food it not rocket science that they may be allergic to that food

In ep 1 she found Ml with a weapon approaching a man on the ground. In that situation the first priority is to disarm him by any means necessary. 2. during the questioning Jjisoo said he was saving his friend from the other guy who had a knife. First of all the knife wasn't found because the rain had swept it into the drainage. Now for the most important part which people keep intentionally leaving out cause deep down even if they say they are not biased, people on this website just have unnecessary hate for fl. They called his friend that he saved and the dude denied that the ml saved him. If the fl was annoying she wouldn't have gone back to the crime scene just incase. In ep 5. what the ml did wrong 1.He confronted the suspect alone and got himself hurt, people forget he a special detective for only 2 months if anything he is basically a civilian if anything happens to him the whole team 1 will be held responsible and questions will be asked why they let someone who isnt trained go investigate alone. 2. The most important thing he did wrong was when arresting a suspect make sure to properly restrain them especially if there are any objects that can be used as a weapon because they can either use it against you or themselves in order to escape punishment
