I like the contrast between them; one is unbridled, careless, just walking around as he sees fit, and slightly seductive in his manner of talking and dressing to lure the other in, while the other is restrained, caring, sitting still in the lotus position and even his clothing, compared to the one before him, makes him look like he's a caged bird, it's worn as properly as a humble scholar on his way to participate in the imperial examination for the first time lmao.
