100% agreed.
The story was okay. I think it just has the issue that many sequels and 2nd seasons have, where they introduce a bigger world with bigger conflicts and stakes, and a lot of new characters. Because of it the story can often be messy and confusing, and not as tightly written and focused as first seasons/first movies.

I definitely enjoyed some aspects of story in season 2 but I just like the smaller scale and more focused story of season 1.

I think the rich production is actually what makes this show great. The production value, action, and visuals…
100% agreed.

Just finished. Still enjoyed the drama because the action was great and the production overall very high quality. Story was kind of messy in season 2, and the finale/ending wasn't very satisfying or exciting.Enjoyed and would watch more, but the drama (especially season 2) is mostly just fun action where you have to turn off your brain when watching. Good and fun but nothing special.

Wait what? I am reading the comments and it turns out, people aren't enjoying this season as much. Wow. I am actually…
I really like this season so far. It has the advantage of not having to introduce characters and have flashbacks constantly. The action also has been absolutely amazing.

Two great episodes again, can't wait for the finale :D

Have to see how the whole thing unfolds next week, but I feel like the murthehelp team was a bit dumb here. Jinman completely alone to Thailand with seemingly no plan, and no one in the Murthehelp HQ seemed to suspect anything.
Also, Pasin could've communicated with them via writing or something haha. But I think there's still some twists coming with that so we'll have to wait until next week.

hey what the fuck i saw rating 8.3 4 hours ago now it's 7.9 🙄 what's going onnn
I don't even get the point of rating dramas that are still ongoing. Should just wait until the ending.

Insanely quick rewatch complete. Was just as good as I remembered, still a 8,5/10 at the minimum. The flashback sequences really work in the drama even though there's a bit too much repetition with them.

Action was better than I remembered, very good in general and excellent by K-drama standards. Everything is shown clearly (no constant quick cuts or shaky cameras). Also some really creative kills in the drama to spice up things, and really make the drama stand out from generic action movies or dramas. It was also refreshing to see so many gunfights, and many modern weapons (drones, robots) in a K-drama and not always the same melee fistfights.

Really excited to watch season 2 now. I have no doubt the action will be amazing, I just hope the narrative stays interesting and doesn't take any stupid turns (like often is the case when K-dramas have multiple seasons).

Yohan apparently being alive, and the last scene made me really pissed off. Hated it.

Title The Manipulated Spoiler
Finished now, it was decent.

Pros:
-Ji Chang Wook is great as always. I also really liked the father-daughter duo. Acting overall was good and the drama had quite a lot of memorable characters.
-Action is nice, not amazing but better than most K-drama action.
-Soundtrack was great
-Overall the production was good throughout.

Cons:
-Villain was too comically/cartoonishly evil for me. I like more grounded and realistic villains.
-Adding on to the last point, the whole story was too unrealistic and somewhat devolved into a generic and over-the-top action movie spectacle towards the end.
-Still adding on to the last two points, I feel like the story sidetracked too much from the actually interesting revenge plot. This was not as tightly or well written as one of my alltime favorite dramas "My Name" for example.
-The ending itself was rushed and didn't felt as satisfying it should have. This is just a common problem in revenge genre unfortunately. ALSO: I REALLY WISHED TAEJOONG JUST KILLED YOHAN, THAT VERY LAST SCENE FRUSTRATED ME A LOT AND I WISHED IT WASN'T THERE AT ALL. It can sometimes work in revenge media to let the villain/final boss live. Here though it didn't make a lot of sense to me.

Overall, quite generic and basic at the end really. Not bad but not very good either.

I loved how the teacher, bullies, and parents all got to experience a taste of what they inflicted on their victims.…
Well said! Oh boy, I really need a season 2 of this haha :D

Goodness me that was amazing! Just pure fun and entertainment with no filler. The team was just iconic haha, I loved the crazy Im Han-Rim the most.

Even though the drama is mostly comedic action, the drama did an amazing job in actually showcasing many different problems schools are facing nowadays. Each episode highlights a new case (these kind of dramas are my favorite, Taxi Driver- like as I like to call them haha) and there was a great variety of different cases. I was actually really surprised the drama didn't just stay on the bullying topic; it had so much more to offer: from problematic parents to corrupt teachers and the rest.

This was pretty much K-drama perfection for me, just everything worked. Easy 9,5 or 10/10!
