Had no idea what to expect but this show has me cracking up in so many scenes.I wonder how they even filmed without cracking up at the scenes! So far seen 3 episodes and it's getting up on top of my fave kdrama list, though I mostly watch cdramas, this kdrama is super fun!

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I felt that the confrontation with Fan Zhi Jing was too big and just created a big mess where Li Xun just gained an enemy who can use bad means to take revenge. I'm scared for what is coming in the future episodes. I personally wished Li Xun could have just reported it to the committee with the evidence he collected. I know it's an expression of love, and an act of justice, so the intention is really good. The expression on Gao didn't look right. He just seemed way too jealous of Li Xun! Li Xun also doesn't speak very kindly sometimes, so I can see why Gao feels the way he does. You can sort of understand all the characters and their flaws - something is driving them to do what they all do, which makes this a very interesting watch. An enjoyable watch so far. I can't wait till the CP becomes an actual CP!

Somehow, in some angles, she reminds me of the Korean actress Han So Hee, but an innocent and cute version. Not sure if anyone else can sort of see that too?

She reminds me of the famous Hong Kong singer! Both are very pretty!

Did not expect to sob so much. It made me miss and cherish my parents and family so much more. So glad that there are LOL comedic moments sprinkled throughout to help ease the soul.

Wow their relationship scenes are so natural. I almost feel like I'm intruding on them by watching them. This drama started kind of slow for me but it is getting better and better!

One thing I noticed about cdramas is that it's so natural for the men to cook. It seems like often times that's how they show love to their wives or gfs. Like it's not just a special occasion, it seems Chinese men are often in charge of cooking. Is that normal in Chinese culture currently, I wonder?

Ahhhh... just saw the beach scene in ep 17... omg.... it was so romantic...the way he gazes at her, it's just so heart fluttering... like how can no one be touched?

Ep 16 - what a sweet, innocent and butterfly inducing episode.

Yes I also wondered why Old Brother didn’t bring Qiqi back home regularly to form a closer bond. It always took a big accident or problem to bring them together more. But maybe it’s also a cultural thing where the auntie brought him into her home so he is more or less part of their family so the cousin would take care of him like his blood little brother though they are not blood brothers. I was wondering maybe this was quite common back then in the small towns where families had many kids and relatives nearby.

Ahh, my heart was beating so hard in the ending scene of ep 12. Wow, the expressions, the music... wondering what will happen next...

Just wondering, why the screen looks like it's so blurry? I only saw a part of Ep 1 so far and noticed, especially when the frame goes to the FL face, the screen gets extra blurred. Is it like that for all episodes? It is a filter that is used?

super cute and romantic. Just be wary of the angst and villains... they're so good at their roles that you'll totally get angry at them. >.< I had to fast-forward some of the more angsty scenes towards the latter half, but otherwise, this drama was beautiful.

L&R was an amazing experience, but I would recommend watching another genre between xianxias and give some time / space. Like another commenter said, you might end up comparing them too much and it will affect your viewing experience of L&R. After watching L&R, it took me soooo many months before I could even start watching another drama. So I think it's worth it. I personally enjoyed Eternal Love and Ashes of Love, so if you liked those, then I think you will surely enjoy L&R.

Oh wait, but didn't that come out like years ago? But they won an award for 2022?
