Loved Love and Redemption!! I didn’t like Legend of Yunxi. Should I give this a try??

It makes me sad why anyone would ever give a 1 to this drama (or any other drama for that matter). No matter how much I don't like a show, I would at least consider the many different aspects of the drama, such as the costumes, overall acting/cast, quality of the sets, moral/story, music, production, etc.

Yea, I also saw that poster and didn't catch any spoiler too! I also didn't read the synopsis or see any trailers, or watch the opening or ending. I pretty much went straight to the drama without any knowledge or expectations. But yea, that spoiler you got must have been a shocker!! LoL >.<

Yea, I really wanted to see more of Xi Xuan in the heavenly realm and of course, more of the kiss scene in ep 52... :)

I am curious since it's by the same director, and he does well in directing romantic scenes! However, I'm not yet sold on the ML's acting, though he is cute/handsome. I heard good things about the FL's acting but have never seen any of her shows before.

Same same, I skipped the opening and ending, and still haven't seen them till this day. Haha. I will also go check it out! ^^

I tried LBTI for a 2nd time, and unfortunately, I still couldn't watch it. >.< Maybe it's not the right timing now... ^^;;

The love from the ML towards the FL and vice versa is 100% faithful in heart. Although there may be "drama" throughout the show that tries to divide them, the story shows how the two of them overcome everything through faith and love. Just like the title, "Love and Redemption", the redemption part is really strong and satisfying at the end. The whole story wraps up well and leaves many of the fans wanting more than 59 episodes! :)

This drama finished broadcasting back in Sep 10, 2020, but this thread is still lively everyday. I love it. :)

I agree, I also wish it was another actress! But, I did like LingLong's acting in L&R. She was better than in Intense Love and surprised me with her grasp of a person going through what appeared to be PTSD. I will still follow it and check the drama out. Crossing my fingers -hoping that the story is good and hope the romance is touching. By the way, according to the clip above, Cheng Yi's character looks like a very lonely one.

Interesting question Jasmine - to be honest - I was never interested in uncut versions of other dramas until Love and Redemption happened. Ahh... After I finished other dramas - I didn't even look for uncut content. I may have watched some bts, and that's about it, and I moved on quickly. >.<

Ohhh.. I've attempted many but only ended up remembering / completing Love and Redemption, Joy of Life, Someday or One Day, The Romance of Tiger and Rose, and The Rise of Phoenixes this year...

Lol, hahaha, why is this so funny >.< :) They do look similar - but I noticed that Cheng Yi's lips has a distinct pout --- on another note, I'm also in the same boat... I want to see more Cheng Yi after Love and Redemption!

I dropped Legend of Yunxi.... there were parts of the story that was captivating, but it wasn't good enough to keep my interest... maybe I should it another try... does it get better in the middle? I'm still stuck on Love and Redemption since Sept..

For some reason, I couldn't get past the 1st episode of Love better than immortality. Maybe I should give it a try again later. :)
