Title The Raccoon
Recommended is this 100% high quality video of the move. Clear and crisp, no interruptions. English subs. Completely superior to the one above. The movie ends at one hour and nine minutes and the ending is clear.

Also, I saw in a movie info site Raccoon was the 16th most popular film in China during its release year, 2016 and from the release month of April.

Here also is an actual photo of buildings and a tower of Hebei (province) University where the film was shot and which appears in the film (from the opposite angle) at 3:15 and again at 11:10. Students at Hebei University School of Film and Media originated the movie so it was shot there. Photo also of the theater where the play was shot.

Hebei University traces its founding to French Jesuits in 1921 and it is affiliated with UCLA Film School and in the UK the University of Lancashire.

Anyone who knows university or college dorms in the contemporary PRC recognizes the packed nature of the rooms under even the most current designs, construction, high fees and tuition. Most colleges have seven or eight students sardined into a room. My English language learners at university in the PRChina were stunned when I told 'em I had a private room during my undergrad years in USA.

Title The Raccoon
The tender trailer above focuses on the profound relationship between Xiao An (San) and the pining for Xiao An roommate Lao Si who as the trailer reveals finally gets got by his newly deflowered tulip. This trailer rather presents the other couple and the intensity between the determinedly chaste Xiao An and the relentless tulip agronomist Mao Cai. I don't think this film ever ends for one tried and true reason....two bottoms still don't make a top. While we haven't any reason to doubt Si's sincerity or commitment, it is beyond the obvious that it is Mao Cai who will do anything for Xiao An...

Looking at the two trailers taken together we are reminded that the raccoon is most well recognized by its mask. This raccoon often reveals himself inadvertently by his response to touches to his head. It's anyway the case that this is a Chinese film about gay guys in China so if anyone might sometimes feel a little confused it's cause we should be. Don't let that stop you however. The characters were written to be tender and loving and the actors delivered convincingly. It's like I'd just gone through an experience with three very close friends.
