somebody calls Tan Yan creepy, and I think that because of his mannerism. he is pretty controlling of his wife, despite having an unusual living set up ( they stay in separate rooms). and gosh, he also cries easily in front of his boss. I hope he gets a lot of character development. but in real life, man at this age acting like this, it stays like this til the end

up til ep29, I haven’t skip a scene. but after that, I think I just have to jump to later episodes. it is depressing, but with a purpose. it shows the characters growth, and growth isn’t comfortable. glad the couple sticks together til end. I think all the time during the angst, she is just regretting that she ever ask him to take this path in life. and madam Yu, wow, she thinks she is doing decision to protect herself / family, but all she is doing is trying to find window where her husband would look at her with appreciation after all the shits she have done for him, even sacrificing her own son. her reasoning is always, he will understand later. she is clueless that she is begging for attention and love from the husband. pathetic of her.

everytime the Yu jingxiu comes on screen, I’ll be screaming he is such an embarrassment. the whole family is such a unit , on being somewhat of a loser.

the house part, in ganlin it is his ( he got it though his army post) , in the capital it’s her, coz she bought it when she arrived there. but it seemed that he is always there. which weird coz at the time, people will surely talk. I just wonder where did he sleep lol

he keeps coming to her house even before they got married ( and very slow at that) , does he even have accommodation of his own 😅.

currently on ep 23/36 , this is not a spoiler. they’re not yet married, which is fine. but he often ask of her as if she is his wife. that makes my blood boil. talks for him in gathering, talk to ahsen. man, do it yourself 😂

it’s an easy watch. is there any drama like this? the ML and FL are so cute together . he is such a green flag, and she is such a trooper who never gives up .

can someone enlighten me with Dafu personality change after he got older? when he was in high school , we can see that he has good relationship with his dad and especially with his sister. then, things started to change when he went to college. he stops talking to his dad , probably his sister too, and spent most of his holiday time at the Internet cafe.. why is this?

I’m on the very first ep , I must say, the window lady and even Yake, man if I were them , id probably do the same 😂😂, im not sure what lies ahead. but it seemed that everyone is at the expense of FL, not by her own doing ofcourse, but she benefits from it ( atleast up to that point ) and I don’t know what to do with that.

I have just started watching this. the female characters gets a lot of flack in this drama. on to ep 6, I sort of understand people’s frustration. I thought the characters were written by men , who knew 😅. it is how the ladies are written.

Finished this today. How do I move on? this is definitely HMH best work to date. my take at the end - the best thing that happened to both Wuyi and Yaoyao is each other.

I wanted to write something, as I watching ep 21, as the couple has officially got together.
This is definitely not a lovey dovey drama, considering the FL’s age. but what is it , is a story of a couple that love so much , and genuinely roots for the best for each other. it’s a partnership that wanted both of them to thrive. their support of their partner’s mission is their manifestation of love which is rare in drama or in real life. I had to stop and reflect.

it does feel a bit disconnected when I know it’s dubbed with VA. but it is what it is as you said

I try to listen hard, some part does sound like HMH, other parts don’t., why is why I asked. it would be great if they can do their own dubbing.

is this dubbed?
