Thank you. I have subbed a movie. Dramas are a more difficult task since a 2 hour movie is just 2 episodes of a 20 episodes dramas.
As a drama fan, I rather give closure to fans. I will focus on movies since it is better than subbing a handful of episodes and not completing the drama.

Better subs are now available. I initially watched it was crappy subs.
It is much better now

It is a big shame. I would have subbed it if it was affordable.
Dramas like this make me want to speed up my plan to build a big subbing team.

I love Gina Jin but her dramas have been disappointing eg Why Women Love.
I just dont enjoy the relationship dynamics.
I am a sucker for noona romances/ jiejie romances but even that wasnt enough for Why Women Love lol

I don't expect the protagonist to spend 5 episodes alone which will be equivalent to cultivating for 100 years in the novel alone in a cave and have all his family die off lol

She was thrown in as an after thought in the novel and the romance is worse than forced.
It just screams of author laziness lol.

. I lasted only 8 episodes.
I love the actress Gianna Jin playing the female lead but this was a tough watch.
I am a fan of grand gestures since I love How I Met Your Mother (I pretend Barney does not exist) but this was taking it too far.

Nice to see a Korean drama fan who appreciates the positives of Japanese dramas.
Too often I see many generalize Japanese dramas as bad.
The understated quality is something that makes Japanese dramas shine.
Yes, there are crazy manga inspired stories but we also get human dramas.

This is a perfect example of why I avoid Chinese dramas:
Great drama ruined by really bad subtitles.
I had to dust off my Chinese I studied years ago to figure out what was going on

I enjoyed this a little too much HAHAHA.
I ended up watch other short dramas due to this and all were disappointing.
This is such a gem, gives a similar vibe to Meloholic

I had very high expectations for this and it was not met.
It is not bad but this subject matter is very intriguing but this is too low budget to make the best out of it

Sorry but this is a work of fiction. You have to suspend belief.
Some things have to be taken too far for comedic purposes.
To me, you are just being fussy for no reason.
If you want to watch something with characters that have zero flaws then you are in the wrong fandom.
Also, watching something pre- MeToo and expecting it to keep to the same standards is simply nitpicking.

Have you tried Inspiring Generation? I watched it a long time ago. I enjoyed the action and I am also not very hard on rookie actresses.
She was in a movie that is probably good: Cops vs Thieves trope

It is cultural, for South Korea eyes are a big deal.
You might not like it but her eyes are a plus in her country.
I dont get it myself, especially, Hwang Jangeum.
I loved Ji BoAh in Temperature of Love though.
Tales of the Nine Tailed was just an all round bad show.
It is pretty but lacks substance. I admit that I am a bit too hard on it since I prefer Chinese 9 tailed fox stories.
Shin Minah did give me unrealistic expectations too to be fair lol
