People coming for Cheng Xiao acting though she isn’t the best but compared to Legend of Awakening which was filmed 2-3 months before this improved a lot for a short time. The drama was filmed in 2019 and she improved a lot from her first drama. Hope she improved much more for her 2020 dramas which she filmed
Personally most actors are not that good but still bearable , it’s not that bad you should give it a chance. All main actors are rookies so it’s expected not to have great acting since half the cats are idols but it’s not that bad that you can’t watch!

Yuan Mu Qing was so cool at the beginning fighting and taking care of herself, I really liked her chemistry with both guys but why did the writers made her so irrational and stupid after the romance part!! Why can’t there be still romance but the FL to stay cool as well, why make her whiny and annoying. It’s like a trend in dramas to make the FL become useless after falling in love
