Khem and Master hugging is everything 😭 I can't get enough. It feels like home!

Not sure where you're are getting your "storytelling rules" from, but they are neither the law nor universally binding. The author can do whatever they want in their story. Kachen was introduced just as late in the novel, as he was here. And he is not the hero that saves the day, that you seem to make him out to be neither is he the one to resolve anything for them. Pharan got it covered, he's got a plan. They just need a bit of help, like an extra set of hands or another brain to pick that knows the supernatural. And in the novel he is mostly bringing his connections and his money. Also a little bit of positive mental support for Pharan, as he is his best friend.

He is Pharans best friend. I think I might have skipped their backstory in the novel as I just wanted to know how it all ends, I was speed reading a lot 😅 anyway, he is really rich and also involved in the whole supernatural thing, not sure if he is also a Shaman though. He also taught Jet, mostly how to be naughty/be like a teenager in contrast to Pharans strictness 😅 In the novel it's even mentioned that he found a girl for Jet to loose his virginity to. He helps them break the curse, though mostly via his connections, like getting them a helicopter to go to a place, he is also the one who finds Luang Pu Kesem in the novel. Not sure if the whole helicopter thing will happen in the series, as they already found the monk.

I absolutely loved today's episode! Namping was killing it! I love the friendship between Khem, Jet and Charn so much, they are true friendship. 🥹 And the way Charn looks at Jet, I'm swooning. Thankfully Master came in time to save Khem. I hope they don't change the way they broke the curse in the novel, that dagger and the warning it came with makes me nervous. I'm so happy we got Kachen! I was worried they might have written him out of the series, but here he is! And it's Net! 😍 Now we have to wait another 7 days again for the next episode 😭 and only 2 more episodes and it's completed, I don't want it to end 😭

But I also already know that even though it is not entirely wrong, regarding the concept of reincarnation, this theory itself isn't what's going on according to the novel

lmao I am rewatching episode 9 right now and I was immersed into the situation when Khem talks to Pheem when he is about to leave. You know the scene it's all sad and dramatic, you're crying. And then suddenly I see IT!!!! There is a BUG crawling on Khems shirt collar at 1:06:44 and it just walks on his collar until it leaves for his back at 1:06:53 I was crying and laughing my ass off at the same time. There is this bug just going his business while the main characters are kind of breaking up. I can't. 🤣😭

I get you 🤭 It felt so satisfying to read their novel! Jorn really repents so much! And the actors had so much chemistry, just like you I think they would be amazing in a better written enemies-to-lovers series.

Yes, that's the time duration of ep 8 uncut 🥰

There are many scenes in all episodes that have been cut that give more depth to all the main characters. It's like they cut out their character development. Like side characters talking about them or Khem, Jet and Charn talking about things that show why they or the main characters in general have this or that reaction to things that are happening. For example the scene between Khems parents was much longer in the uncut version in ep 4. I haven't finished the reaction video to ep 8 yet, but there was a talk between Khem, Jet and Charn that showed how flustered Khem was after the kiss and Charn making comments to Jet to show he was frustrated that Jet couldn't give him a clear answer about them. They cut a lot of scenes of Jet and Charn, like a flashback to Jin and Da. Also, even though it's not that important to character development, but they cut like 95% of Pharan and Khems first kiss(es). All the little things that make the characters a bit more relatable.

While watching the reaction video I am always amazed at how much they cut for the cut version of the series. There is so much more context in these scenes. If I had only access to the cut version I'm not sure if I would be as obsessed with this series as I am now. I feel sad for people who can only watch the cut version 😢

When Prim asked Pharan whom he has feelings for and he looks back to the kitchen, for a moment I thought maybe Prim thinks Master is in love with her brother Pong 🤣 imagine that misunderstanding, it would have been kind of funny 🤣🫣

After ep 7 I was sure that something about the radio will interrupt the kiss, like Pharan reaching for the cassette tape that Prim gave him, but I just saw something new rewatching that scene: Khems elbow gets very close to the radio/cassette player. So my guess is that his elbow is gonna hit the play button and Prims confession is going to be blasted out loud for everyone to hear 🙊 which if course interrupts the moment. This would fit in to what we saw in the bts of ep 7, where a crying/hurt looking Khem is giving back Masters amulet/bracelet. But! I still expect a kiss between them to happen in today's episode! They can't deprive us of the kiss if they ended last episode like they did, it's not fair 🥹
