Out of the main cast(Ju Jing Yi, Zhang Zhe Han, Liu Yi Chang, Wang You Shuo, and Kiki Xu) I liked Ju Jing Yi's acting the best. I think she portrayed the female lead, Fu Rong perfectly. For once I did not blame the female lead for misjudging the male lead. I watched how Ju Jing Yi acted in The Legend of YunXi. If I were to compare her acting in these two dramas I would have to say, she was more experienced while acting in this drama. I also like how she sang of lot of the songs. My favorite song in Blooms At RuYi Pavilion is the song called "Ancient Painting".
Out of the main characters(Fu Rong, Xu Jin, Xu Ping, Wu Bai Xi, and Fu Xuan) I liked Wu Bai Xi the best. I think he was very funny and caring. When he got his legs cut, he didn't want Fu Xuan to see him in pain. When it was hard to watch Fu Rong and Xu Jin in their cold war, Wu Bai Xi and Fu Xuan kept me going.
I actually felt very bad for Xu Ping in the end. All his efforts to revenge for his mother were in vain. His character kind of reminded me of Ou Yang Shou Gong from Swords of Legends (2014).
My favorite support character was either Gu Yuan(Ah Yuan) or Fu Guan(Guan Ge). Though Ah Yuan made many mistakes in the beginning of the story, she redeemed herself in the end of the story. Guan Ge just has to be mentioned! He's Fu Rong's brother. He is very adorable, even when he gets poisoned.
I can't wait to finish my plate of other dramas so I can rewatch The Blooms At RuYi Pavilion!
