I have seen three episodes so far and I enjoy this tropey lakorn. The ML is a true knight in shining armor, the family is nuts and I am learning stuff about pearls.

So, is it safe to speculate Chen Xiaos character likely won‘t get a HE? Or he‘ll do a noble sacrifice to make up for the shadyness?

For real? Oh no, he really should have known better… such a shame. I guess the last series he shot will never get aired then?

Holy moly, I couldn’t believe my eyes and ears. Jeff‘s reaction, I mean poor guys! This isn‘t funny, it‘s unprofessional at best. Quite frankly, I‘d hit them with a lifelong ban on showing up on set.

Honestly, if I was Yok or any of his old friends, I‘d cut him off as well. Him hiding Chay in the bar led to one heck of a crime scene there. Is Yok cool with that? She left Chay alone so I feel like she didn‘t get the whole picture from Porsche (ie: be ready for trouble to arrive).

I had the same feelings! I feel he got in over his head (Kinn makes him forget everything) but now stays to take uncle Korn down.

I was rooting for Chay to delete the video and block the contact. Kim is dangling a relationship abiding by Kim-like rules in front of him. Chay isn‘t confident enough yet to state his own rules and conditions.

Also, wow, you just pointed this out to me: Yok has to deal with a huge pile of bodies now! Her bar is a huge crime scene, implicating her in shady stuff. I hope she has one heck of a lawyer and a top notch cleaning/renovation crew

He visually reminded me of Muten Rōshi and I felt he definitely would have loved to join the murder spree.

I felt sad too, because in the end it drove home the point how once he started out as someone NOT profiting off gamblers, drug addicts, sex trafficked prostitutes… Mafia makes for a nice backdrop in a tv series but it has a severely negative impact on people.

Except when he said „favorite son“, referring to Kinn, that was ominous. Made me question his actions once more… Was he a soccer mom while at the same time driving home the point that the favorite son was about to end the bloodline with no heir? Sure, there are surrogate mothers but still. So so weird to say that in such way about his own brother.
