https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/cq61d22ved2o I’ve learned from BBC News that there’s an extreme tornado…
She and 17 other C-celebrities have donated to aid Guangxi province, which was devastated by the floods. She understands what matters more, despite all the backlash she is currently facing. I wish for her to always be safe also 🙏🫶

Agree! All of LBL’s OST songs, both the ones with Chinese and English lyrics, are amazing. I finished the drama…
I hope it’ll work well in your region 👍😊

I am also using Spotify and Musicana in the UK for my music playlist. If I couldn't find it in spotify, I would find in Musicana pretty much any song, including ‘I wish for you’. We can build our library of music for free in Musicana, only one advert is shown when start playing your whole playlist, and no internet access is needed to play in the car.

Haven't finished yet. Only two more episodes left. sob. But he's a bad Ai face swap, so I wouldn't blame the actor…
It’s a shame they put too much screen for this face-swapped actor tho, because watching WCR and TJC only was a great fun!

Which episode is the last of Wang Ruo Hai?? I really didn't want to drop this drama as LYF and QF banter was hilarious! But OMG, I can't stand WRH’s facial expression and acting!

I'm rewatching it and dear God ALL romance dramas need to hire the music director of this show bc the OST songs…
Agree! All of LBL’s OST songs, both the ones with Chinese and English lyrics, are amazing. I finished the drama 4 months ago, but the tunes of ‘At Dusk’ and ‘I Wish for You’ are still stuck in my head and make me just sit and play on my piano a lot, and I've rewatched it twice already!

Dear Lu Yuxiao, did you see that? Many of your international fans here in MDL are actually rooting for you and…
I hope some fans who actually are in China and may have a chance to see her in person could help us to write on the card and let her know about her raising popularity on mydramalist (MDL) and pass the card to her, as I heard that she always reads them! Knowing that many people outside China mainland admire her acting, she’ll believe in herself more and keep aiming higher! 😊❤️

By the way, sometimes I will start a costume drama but some of the acting will feel flat so I then go and re-watch…
Tbh, I’ve lost appetite and patience to watch many Asian dramas when Lu Yuxiao was not the main lead and dropped quite a few recently 😭 Nothing I enjoy watching as much as rewatching her best dramas 🤦‍♀️

That’s how I feel, too. It’s the best way to put it ☺️ Sometimes it didn't make any sense to me, becoming so addicted to seeing posts of news on social media about her everyday! But how real is her acting, and her as a person, truly has gotten me into this fandom!

There was already a lot going on plotwise, but I wish there had been a bigger focus on the whole thing of women…
Yes, it is a complex plot, with many twists, but there will be a perfect closure of everything at the end, including why fairies with spiritual veins were suppressed.

Omg! Binged 20eps this is soooo good! I generally don’t like the c-fantasy genre, and never get past ep1. But…
It’ll only get better. Just please be patient and try to understand why Ming Yi did what she did in ep 23. There are many twists and a complex plot, but all will be answered and wrapped up beautifully toward the end. Enjoy!

is this actually an 8.8 or is it jus c-drama glazers LOL. i seen 1 ig reel and it looked interesting but not an…
It is very good, if you like the modern C-drama, mature romance genre. LBL has beautiful cinematography. Acting and chemistry in this drama are among the best in the modern C-dramas and even the K-dramas, as many have said that. All felt very natural, not over the top and no cringeworthy moments; it’s almost like we actually watched an ordinary people/couple in real life, that’s why its ratings generally are great across many platforms.

worst c drama i've ever watched there is better....- Boring af- Dragging on- No chemistry- mid acting
@Crelisya I saw that you only watched 3/28 Eps then dropped. How could you see and say so much about the story being dragged out and there being no chemistry in just 3 episodes when actually the lead couple also just got together in ep 19? Chemistry in this drama is one of the best in modern C-dramas as many said that, all felt very natural, almost like we actually watched an ordinary couple in real life, far from mediocre acting and definitely not the worst drama, which’s why its ratings are generally great across many platforms.

The open ending for me is kind a brilliant 😊
The love story is mature but more for second leads, with all their insane chemistry and silent push-pull tension, which made your heart pump excitedly. Though they couldn't be together, you could sense that they love each other so much, hence the baby Gong to be 😊

I am pretty much like that also. Keep rewatching her best work. God helps me! Coincidentally, I put aside Serendipity because firstly it’s the worst rated among dramas wherein she’s the female lead, though some said it wasn’t as bad as the rating. Hesitated on watching To Ship Someone coz of the rating also. And for some reason not really keen with the male lead. But I may give it a go when it’s really nothing to watch! ☺️

I don’t get why people sympathy with sq and want the season 2 with only sq and gsj like are you for real? she…
I could understand it’s unfair that some people undermined the main lead characters. I personally would like a closure for both couples if there were ever to be a season 2. GZY and YWS had brilliant character development, too, which is worth highlighting. As I said, at the end, GZY was indeed a change-man, the strongest Gong, and with YWS, they complemented each other. The position of Sword Wielder is solemnly his from the beginning, as his father’s painstaking effort to bring out his potential. GSJ was never really meant to have that position; whatever he did against GZY was out of loyalty to the Gong family and to make sure that the Gong family was in good hands. This is to pivot the next story to the characters' love life, and the revelation of their true identity would be interesting. I would like to say that “presuming the death of YWS and SQ” becomes their miraculous survival and them working together with GZY and GSJ to take down Wufeng and end their personal vendetta as well. As their life and perhaps many other members in Wufeng were used and ruined by the Wufeng, which we’d like to see also, who’s the big boss behind it? Thank you for analysing this underrated masterpiece together! I agree, we all do need a masterpiece ending!

MingZai?
It’s Ming Yi and Ji Bozai, the characters in Love in the Couds, fantasy costume Cdrama of Lu Yuxiao and Hou Minghao. It’s one of LYX and HMH work if you are a big fan.

Lu Yuxiao and Cheng Lei acting and chemistry as SQ and GSJ was insane! That’s why we just couldn't get enough…
The writer pivoted the story, highlighting human nature. No matter whether a male-centric sect leader or an assassin, we are only humans who can fall in love and can't control whom we fall in love with until we feel it and meet this person, but we still can be loyal and protect what matters to us most, such as family. Which is more interesting and not disrespectful, imo. In the end, GSJ took away the infinite heat from SQ without her noticing, and GZY has become stronger and is alive. The Gong technically is still having an advantage over Wufeng in terms of the plot; we can have a closure of that. It’d not be difficult to wipe Wufeng for good. What most of us crave, possibly, is more of tightening up all the human sides of the characters in the story. To give them decent closure at least. This is why I called MJTY a masterpiece, making my mind and imagination go further and beyond in so many ways after this cliffhanger ending 😊
