Yes I agree. I want all the original cast. Even supporting ones too for that matter. But we can't be sure of things. I'm just preparing myself in advance 🥺 if you know what I mean. But still hope 🙏🙏 they can somehow bring back the og cast. 💗I love them all.

📌 Why are we sure that GJM is the director for S2? As much as I know this is Youku drama, platform is youku, primary producer is youku, and they said in their statement they wanted to explore more about " classic of mountains and seas" GJM has no patent over that. And he also don't have a patent over 'painted skin'. So why do we think GJM will be the writer or director or whatever he can be for VOS 2.0??!
📌 The news came now. They had a meeting after the stats came about the drama success. Only then they are sure to move this project forward and put out season 2. They said " officially begins" There are thousands of things to be done before they take the drama to shooting stage.
📌 It won't happen overnight. They just wanted to cash the opportunity and announced it now to keep up the buzz and hype.
📌 Back to first point.. Youku can actually give this drama to another writer and another director and another team. They don't need anyone's permission..
