This series is a mysterious and mixing with some cute scenes but don't you eager why Nut being crazy, please try…
Don't get me wrong I am very sympathetic to the character of Nut and Job is doing a spectacular job of portraying him. I just feel it is taking too long for his story to develop meanwhile we watch another we care about suffer. I love the mystery aspect and for me it's the main draw. How small the world is and how all the characters' stories are connected. The romance is a welcomed plus.

I rated this a 10/10 until I realised that the toxic aspect appeared to be a mainstay. But you sound confident that there will be a turnaround soon so I'll pick it back up. I hope I don't regret it.

I agree that there should be a content warning on more recent episodes. I think the violence (abuse) will be addressed…
The thing is I really like the series. The acting and everything is on point. And I'm not against abuse as a plot point either. But if there's no character development and no growth in sight the writers are basically telling me that I should accept and love this character as is - that this abusive dynamic between the leads is cute or sexy. Even though I can sympathize with Nut I don't find the endless battering and scolding entertaining. Maybe if it was comedic but it's not. I'm a 3rd of the way through the series and neither the abuser nor the victim have shown significant growth in this department. Even when the furniture point out to Tofu that Nut's behaviour towards him is terrible he makes excuses for him. Even when Nut's friends point out to him how bad he is behaving his reaction is they just don't understand him. These episodes are 90 minutes long. Will I have to wait until the last 2 episodes before I see some growth?

The comparison with Cutie Pie and KinnPorsche are unfair. Though toxic, the dynamics of those relationships are completely different. In Cutie Pie the leads deceive each other even though one has the upper hand and the character development progresses much quicker. Kuea starts out on the same trajectory as Tofu in terms of idealising his partner but wises up a lot sooner which triggers a change in Lian.

KinnPorsche just started but despite the unequal power dynamics no one could accuse Porsche of being a victim.

Does Nut stop abusing Tofu at some point? Episode after episode with this guy. There should really be a trigger tag. It's not cute. It's excessive and spoils an otherwise enjoyable drama. Dropped for now.
