in some scenes the directing and acting feels awkward in that i can tell they are acting, the instance where the nerd is brought to the gangsters office, his 'fear' did not compel me, it was stiff and too typical, lips parted, eyes wide with no deeper expression and shoulders shaking. it brought to mind a looney tune cartoon.

I'm in EP 26 and guys, this is what I had expected from the legend of the female general, pursuit of jade is doing it and doing it so well!!! I feel bad for watching it too soon, when I could have binged it and then when done start again!!

I am finally done and overall enjoyable with great characters. Though the last two three episodes so much was crammed in, could have done with 80 total episodes. I wanted to see more of what happened to fourth sister and I would have liked for them to find out she set Madam Kang free.

16 episodes to go and i'm bored now. first 40 episodes stuff was happening, but i think because characters that i had come to enjoy are no longer there

Very entertaining drama but had to role my eye at the last episode when Song Huaein declares his feelings for Awu. So even him, he did all that because of his obsession with Awu? Deep sigh.
At this point free Chen from Awu.
And poor Yuxiu falling for a man who didn't love her. I am just glad she wasn't alive to see Huaien confess to Awu. But that scene of her crying was too cringe.
