This is so far the MOST sensual Asian drama I have watched, like it's making me feel things, lol, and I'm only 2 eps in. The way he untied her dress? When their hands touched for the first time? When he tried lifting her skirt? When he lifted her onto the table? When he carried her to the bed and leaned in? Whew 🥵
I have to give it to the show runners. Like the ml is crossing the fl's boundaries and instead of being grossed out I'm curling my toes with anticipation.
Also Chae Soo Bin is so pretty, what?! So cute.

I think I'd thoroughly enjoy Ziqi and Marquis actually acting as brothers. They have such an interesting dynamic. I wonder if they'll ever meet again

Also the part of the swing, he understood exactly what MM meant which surprised him and cuicui. Later on he wondered how he knew exactly what she meant. I thought it could mean he's maybe from the modern world

I love this approach to ZQ + MM it feels different from other dramas and almost realistic.

Yes they're so soulless. But I find it interesting the rest of the story gets properly developed like the village people, cuicui, even the water demon couple but they haven't received an upgrade yet.

That Marquis really has the best timing. He better not give that bracelet to MM 🥹

The juxtaposition of having the main couple spend time together, talk and learn about eachother while on the other hand, so far we don't know why the second couple like eachother (while they're supposed to be the main couple of a novel) reminds me of some dramas and novels that are like this with not so well developed romances to the point it's never WELL explained why they like each other but we are just supposed to understand they like each other, so the writers tend to use a lot of atmospheric moments to 'develop' the romance without going skin deep. Like saving someone from a tumble.

Either way the audience gets excited at little things that normally shouldn't be viewed as exciting like sitting together.
Ziqi saying 'but they're only sitting together' made me laugh. Bro, it's the atmosphere that makes it special.

Anyway DYX was brilliant in EP 17 the angst was making my heart ache and Esther Yu was as cute as ever.
Oh and I like how the Princess was not turned into some jealous villainess.
And I think the plot is developing quite well, I'm so curious about MY hearing the demon woman. What does this mean?

I like how this relationship is developing, that the two don't only have good chemistry but they're talking to eachother and getting to know eachother and it's happening a lot.

I keep thinking the same thing, in uni I had 3 hour classes a day and not much else to do, now when I get off work I can hardly finish 1 episode 🥹 this is why it can take me months just to finish 1 drama

I like how populated the backgrounds are, it gives the illusion of a busy market/town.
I remember in another drama the characters were worried about a huge refugee crowd only for it to be like 20 people 😭

That little didi is such a good actor 🥹 I also liked him a lot in Blossoms in Adversity. Kind of makes me think of Wu Lei when he was a kid actor.

This drama is so addictive. I started it on a whim but was drawn in by how pretty it is and the shenanigans are entertaining.
